'A Grateful Patient'
The perfect experience for patients in need of compassion and empathy Thank y'all, attitude of the staff, the professionalism, the overall demeanor towards patients is outstanding. After years of suffering with neck pain, spine problem, and sciatica pain my grandson asked me to consider Dr. Mariam Hameed - a double board certified pain specialist. Dr. Hameed listened to me as I shared my input for my healing process. I am so grateful she did not dismiss my past substance addiction so narcotic meds and surgery was not an option for me. She encouraged me to go back to physical therapy, prescribed 1x steroids to relieve inflammation and a rub on cream that really work. I am so grateful to God for the introduction to Clearway Pain Solutions. Dr. Mariam Hameed you are deserving of 5 stars 'Thank you!'

Schedule with someone else
My appointment was scheduled at 12:15pm and was not seen until 2:20pm. Completely understand that medical procedures run behind but when addressed with Dr. Hameed- she in front of one of her staff members did not take a moment to apologize or explain, she said it was out of her control, and rolled her eyes. Completely disrespectful and inconsiderate of not only my time and my ride's time. The entire staff discussed how rude and unprofessional she is, and they all sincerely apologized for her delay. Apparently she was trying to be in two rooms at once and trying to knock out as many surgeries as possible. Be warned- customer service says a lot about a medical practice. She may be a good writer and surgeon but she has zero tact. Try and book an appointment at another location or with another doctor.

I recommend Dr. Hameed unequivocally and enthusiastically. She has been the only pain management physician who has helped to greatly reduce the constant pain I've had since spine surgery (with implants) five years ago. I appreciate that she takes a measured, incremental, very methodical approach to patient care, rather than just prescribe drugs or jump immediately to an expensive procedure. Her clinical skills are excellent and she is the most personable, friendly, and truly caring physician I've met in a long time. She is patient, answers questions honestly and thoroughly, and takes time to really listen. She is complemented by an awesome support staff as well, and I commend all of them.

Dr. Hameed helped me every step of the way with my pain management. Scheduling my appointments were easy and done in a timely manner i loved it. Dr. Hameed kept me encouraged with my progress she also discussed other ways to help relieve my pain. I will always be indebted to her and the facility team for putting our feelings first and treating us like family rather then patients. I will always recommend her office and the Clearway Pain Solutions services. Thank you very much ?

After 15+ years of lumbar pain, I have NO pain! I have had three back surgeries and have lots of hardware in my back. She performed diagnostic procedures that have stopped the pain. Very professional, courteous and personable. Explains procedures in a way that I understand. Doesn’t schedule just to keep you returning- but call if pain returns. Excellent credentials. HIGHLY recommend!!

I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR, I don't know how she was then , but now she's arrogant, disrespectful, non caring. She shows no empathy nor sympathize with any of her patients. I have a plethora of medical problems and like one reviewer said, you cannot take a patient's medicine down substantially from percocet and morhine to basically taking Tylenol and flexeril and think that's going to do justice. Well, I left and that was the best decision I ever made. Slamming doors and screaming, I can't

Dr. Hameed met with me before and after my procedures. She showed me images and clearly explained what the problem was, and how the procedures would help my cervical pain. She has the very best bedside manner of any doctor I have ever seen. And I have had over 20 surgeries/procedures in 16 years. I highly recommend her. She is very, very good at what she does!

Dr. Hameed came very highly recommended by my neurosurgeon at GWU. I was able to meet with her before my Transforminial Epidural Steroid Injection and Steroid Injection to my Piriformis muscle and she was very competent and kind. Her staff - Kimo - seems very unorganized - wasn't able to see that I needed two procedures, booked me for only one procedure, didn't give me pre-op info like which address to go to or to do patient registration online, and they had the wrong dob. Dr. Hameed was good.

After unsuccessful surgery I became a patient of pain management clinics. The doctors I've met were knowledgeable and without much hesitation offered opioid therapy. Dr. Hameed has an entirely different approach. After thorough evaluation of my condition she suggested a complex of physiotherapy, interventional pain reduction, even Botox injections and reluctantly, opioids. All of her recommendations are very thoutful and made after my full acceptance. She is a brilliant physician. A rarity.

After I consulted 4 other doctors at MFA for pain relief (over 3 1/2 years), Dr. Hameed was the first to to radically reduce my pain medication. When I began seeing her, I was on Morphine Sulfate and Percocet. She rather quickly eliminated the Morphine and substantially reduced my Percocet dose. When I told her how much pain I was in, she referred me for physical therapy (which was ineffective). I've asked to see a different doctor there (even just for a 2nd opinion) but MFA says I can't.
