Dr Mina was our PCP and my husband scheduled to get Tdap shot for himself when I was 35 weeks pregnant. They scheduled the shot and when he got there they refused the service claiming he had not been seen in a year. My husband was open to making an appt with her but do get the shot that day as we were high risk for premie. And Dr Mina refused to see him as well as her staff was untrained and unprofessional. Things that went wrong here: you never put patient needs first, you had all the time to call and cancel before even he got there or never give him an appt for shot in first place and we would have made arrangements, claiming that he didn’t have patient provider relationship which is a lie and secondly you can just walk in to a pharmacy and get a Tdap shot with no provider relationship. Wish they knew how to treat patients and prioritize healthcare.

Mina, Md is a sorry excuse for a doctor. She is nothing more than a triage nurse.

3 visits totaling hundreds of dollars out of pocket lasting less than 5 minutes each b/c she was in/out office on/off phone & lastly rushing to "meeting" -1st visit instructed NOT to take a med until she does workup. 2nd visit documented symptoms I NEVER had, rx'd meds & when had reaction necessitating ER visit then stated in records 3rd visit I refused to take meds, ignored reaction, & stated "noncompliance" which impacted future care with new provider negatively. I would never ever go to this doctor if she were the last one standing.

She is a terrible doctor. She was my family doctor. I had two incidents. 1) According to another doctor I met, she prescribed unnecessary medication to me that caused a severe allergic reaction. 2) Based on a lab test, she diagnosed my problem and prescribed a medication. I met a specialist and it turned out that the diagnosis and the prescription she prescribed were completely wrong. During my visit, I also felt many times that she just wants to finish her meetings and does not care for her

Dr. Mina is great but her office staff is unresponsive to phone calls (I left five messages in a week in relation to needing a prescription refill; I was left without access to my medication for five days; they also did not respond to my pharmacy's phone calls and electronic requests). When I showed up in person, the office staff were condescending; they then proceeded to send over the wrong dosage. Dr. Mina came recommended by colleagues; if she was not, I would be changing providers.
