Dr. Marie Delcambre, MD

Dr Delecambre told me to cut dosage of opiate in half to begin getting off of it then rolled her eyes at me when I said my pharmacist warned it was important to reduce dosage of Oxycodone very slowly. She insisted I do what she told me. Within 24 hrs I was having serious withdrawal symptoms and Dr Delecambre insisted again I do what she told me or she would put me in a detox facility. I asked another doctor to take over managing my withdrawal & it took less than 3 minutes for this different doctor to search online how to reduce dosage safely and found a recommended protocol which had me go back up in dose and then reduce incrementally over a few weeks. Dr Delecambre was arrogant and belittled my diagnosis from an orthopedist as well as belittled the pharmacist. If you are health maybe she is fine. She knows nothing about pain management.

My husband and I have been going to Dr Marie Delcambre for years. Yes there is an annual fee to pay that is not covered but as we are starting to get a little older and are having little things pop up regarding our health it’s so nice to have an amazing delivery Dr Delcambre. She has a cut off of how many patients she will accept. This helps her spend more quality time with her patients. She always knows your chart and leaves no stone unturned when you are having an issue. She does an intensive yearly exam. She has a great network of specialist which I have needed at times. Here’s an example of her VIP care. I cut my finger pretty bad and 30 min later my finger was stitched up and I was on my way back home. I am only 7 min from her office I was very happy to not spend hours in urgent care before I got treated. Highly recommend this doctor and her staff is great too!

There is an $1800 fee just to be seen by this doctor and it is not covered by insurance. This is an annual fee.

Dr. Marie A. Delcambre has been our primary physician for over 25-years. She is very professional and knowledgeable. We have always found her to have our health and wellness issues first on her agenda. She is a very good listener and takes the time necessary to discuss your health problems and wellness issues.
