Dr. Marie Dumas, MD

As a complicated health case, who has seen probably close to 100 doctors over the course of my life, a lot that have been traumatic - and yet one appointment with this doctor put her in my top 5 worst appointments I've had. First off, I have had nothing but good experiences since starting care at NY H&H - I have over a dozen specialists and they have all been compassionate, helpful and you can tell they genuinely care about their patients. This doctor however, made it very clear that seeing patients was a waste of her time. She immediately began dismissing my diagnoses from Cleveland Clinic specialists, berating ME for the appointment going long and that she had other patients to see and refused to help at all, while I was in a state of starting to develop sepsis (which can be fatal). I reported her and was immediately contacted by the director of primary care who apologized and personally chose a doctor that would work well with me, and they have been incredible. AVOID THIS ONE
