Dr Manheim takes the time to listen and to fully understand my health issues. She answers my questions thoroughly and patiently. I drive an hour and a half each way to see her, and her help has absolutely been worth the drive.

I have been going to Midway, and seeing Dr. Marie, for a few years and have been in good health even with an MS diagnosis. Recently I had a mammogram that indicated an abnormality. I have great concerns about the diagnosis and overtreatment of breast cancer in this country and expressed my concerns to Dr. Marie. Instead of forcing me to have a biopsy, which is what the radiologist recommended, Dr. Marie listened to my concerns and ordered an MRI. The MRI did not show any abnormality in my breast. If you want a doctor/practice that will listen to you and work with you and support you in your pursuit of good health, than consider going to Midway and Dr. Marie. Sometimes you have to wait but that is because the Doctors and nurses spend time with you and so you need to extend that courtesy to other patients. Sometimes they provide a lot of information, but I would rather process too much information, than not enough. I highly recommend Midway and Dr. Marie Manheim.

She is the best medical practitioner that I have found in or near Lexington who is able to integrate the health of the person as well as see how lifestyle impacts any illness you may have comma or possibly be setting yourself up to get in the future.
