Dr. Marie-Lyne Lavoie, MD

On my 1st visit, Dr spent time with me, was engaging, addressed my concerns. 2nd visit, she was in a rush, I had to stop her from leaving the room to remind her my prescription needed to be renewed. 3rd visit, again she was in a rush, again had to remind her of my prescription as she was leaving the room. ***Most important: I told her of a change I noticed in the appearance of my breast, reminded her I have two cysts there, and she stated, definitively, "It's a mass. We'll get you scheduled for a diagnostic mammogram." The office scheduled the mammogram for SIX WEEKS later. I had to call and ask them to send me to another provider. Someone dropped the ball, the weekend passed, and I literally had to beg them on a Monday to get me scheduled that week, which they did. The mass? The two cysts in my breast had shrunk and caused the change in appearance of my breast. I won't return to Dr or even to that practice.

Dr. Lavoie is a doctor who cares about her patient wellbeing. I credit to being alive today to h I was suppose to have Fibroids surgery but she wanted to do one more test and that test reveal that I had Endometrial Cancer, when she gave me my diagnosis she had already contacted a Oncologist at Wesley Long Hospital . Everything weny smoothly . I had a complete Hysterectomy ,went through chemotherapy and radiation. I've been cancer free for7 years. I thank God everyday for Dr. Lavoie

I saw Dr. Lavoie for my first visit with her in November. I was a longtime patient of another doctor in the same practice who had retired early. She was patient, empathetic, and really listened. She had obviously read over and familiarized herself with my medical chart. I had been a bit anxious about seeing a different physician but she made me very comfortable and she was thorough in my examination. My older daughter is a patient of hers and she said Dr. Lavoie made her feel very comfortable for her first gynecology appointment. Thank you, Dr. Lavoie!

Was gentle and speedy with pelvic exam, only con was waited 1 hour past scheduled appointment time. However, she was apologetic, and met all my request....Some of staff was a lil rude when inquiring about how much longer my anticipate wait would be, post exam no one really followed up on to go to the lab for blood work and it's location, kind of stood in the hall waiting for some direction with lab papers in hand, overall I will be returning

I really liked her; she was my doctor for a long time and was a blessing in my pregnancy. Nevertheless, because I was sent to collections twice both of which are paid, she herself advised she would not longer see me per her billing department so for that I would never recommend her again to anyone that is absurd. Although I do agree, she is a good doctor but to treat a paying patient that way is a disgrace. Things Happen; Life Happens.
