No Endometriosis Knowledge at All
Dr. Shockley claims to know about and be able to treat endometriosis, but also refuses to do anything about it except birth control. I begged for help and she just kept telling me to wait it out. I finally found a real expert and had a four hour surgery two days ago to remove all of the endometriosis that was completely covering my pelvis and had spread to some other organs, adhearing them all together. Dr. Shockley has no business claiming to be able to treat endometriosis. She lacks empathy for those in pain, especially when they are young. And just in case she is reading this...please know that it is NOT “physically impossible” for endo to cause hip pain, especially if it is due to an ovary being pulled completely out of place. You would know that if you actually read MRIs instead of dismissing them.

Best Discovery
Dr. Shockley is exceptional. I had searched for a gyn surgeon to consult for my fibroids and ovarian cyst for months. From my first meeting with Dr. Shockley, I knew that I wanted her to perform my hysterectomy. She met all of my criteria: specialty in uterine abnormalities, expertise in laparoscopic surgery, high patient ratings, and compassion. I also appreciated that she explained what she is going to do, why, and what I could expect. She is warm and approachable. She took the time to answer my questions and to reassure me. My surgery was a great success. I recommend Dr. Shockley to any woman who needs gynecological surgery.

Dr. Shockley, She is absolutely amazing! She ensures her patients understand all the treatment options available to them, transparent and caring when discussing diagnoses and creates a positive healing environment during each visit. I couldn't have made it without her care.

Not very understanding of your situation your going through. Always rushing and not really concerned about what you want to do as a patient with your body. She will prescribe you medicines or birth control. But if there is a serious issue and your explaining to her how you been feeling it goes in one ear and out the other. Feels like your talking to a wall. I would not recommend anyone to go here ! If you have a serious reproductive issue or pain I could recommend finding a better surgeon or obgyn. Please just going here with stress you out make you feel like no one cares even after explaining your situation and spending medical records etc
