This was the worst doctor's visit I've ever experienced. Horrible bedside manner, the most painful colposcopy I've ever had. It's almost like she was trying to make the procedure painful. I asked her to count to three before taking the biopsy because I was nervous. She ignored me. She also decided to do a second biopsy mid-procedure (even though she said everything looked totally clear with iodine so we only needed to do the one). She was completely expressionless and cold. She left without even offering me a pad for the bleeding. I was literally shaking after she was gone. I am switching my healthcare because of this woman. I wish I'd have googled her before making an appointment.

I was greeted and attended to by the friendly receptionist. My nurse was also very gracious and encouraging .Steenstra explained the procedure thoroughly and answered my questions. All were kind and attentive. Thank you.

Zero bedside manner during a colposcopy procedure. I told her I was nervous and scared and she just shrugged it off. She said “you know why you’re here right?” And then made a mistake and I wouldn’t stop bleeding. I passed out after and was in severe pain. Spoke with a friend who had an even worse experience with her. I have PTSD from my experience. Best part is after seeing a new doctor I was told I didn’t even need the procedure.

I would never recommend her. I visited this doctor because I was having excruciating pelvic pain. After my first and only appointment no one followed up with me. I waited a week before calling. I called for a week and was finally told nothing could be done for me. I went to another doctor and was immediately told what COULD be done to stop the pain. I had surgery two days ago to have my Fallopian tube removed, the pelvic pain is completely gone. I found out my Fallopian tube was wrapped around my ovary, my ovary had an enlarged cyst full of endometriosis. I continued in pain for MONTHS because of the false information I was given by this first doctor. Something COULD be done! Absolutely HORRIBLE!

She was unfriendly, no smile, and I felt like she didn’t want to be there. Maybe she was having a bad day or didn’t like me from the start. I never will go back.
