I usually have to book appointments many weeks in advance, which isn't ideal if I'm feeling overwhelmed. Dr. Adler is fine when I am in the office, and seems fairly engaged, but outside of these hours, can be hard to reach. And sometimes, when I am in a crisis, I may need my medication to be changed, etc. So, the fact that she can be somewhat unavailable sort of complicates my life. I think if she were more responsive, I would give her more stars, because I do think she has insights into my situation.

Takes weeks to respond to phone calls and messages. Does not call back to say more information was needed or there are reasons prohibiting refill and that's why nothing has been done to refill prescriptions, etc- even after multiple faxes, calls, messages from both patients and their pharmacies. It seems like she hooks new patients on the steep $475 first new patient visit and then forgets they exist. Even in patient visits she seemed judgmental and cold, not compassionate.

Dr. Adler has been exceptionally good at working with my teenage daughter. Her style and interaction fit precisely what my daughter needs. These are difficult topics and she does an nice job of blending serious discussion with a bit of ease in style. Furthermore, she makes herself available to discuss things after hours and in situations that require attention away from scheduled appointments. Excellent on all counts.
