Dr. Marilyn Berzin, MD

I have seen a lot of doctors and have never before given a negative review to a physician. I recognize that a body scan, if necessary, is not the most interesting of dermatological appointments. Dr. Berzin made this perfectly clear to me . She spent all of 3 minutes with me in this, my first appointment with her. I had 3 minor skin related issues that I wanted to discuss with her which would have extended our visit by perhaps 2-3 minutes. The dispatch with which she dismissed my first issue told me she had no interest in what I wanted to say. I am happy she so quickly pronounced no need to see me for at least a year. Yet, she left me with the impression that her time on was not warranted for routine issues with no direct connection to cosmetic enhancement. I hope that she was only having a bad day. I give 2 stars rather than one as I presume her competence based on my positive experience with her partner Dr. Isaacson, who I had seen and recommended to my husband..

To borrow from another commenter, "quick but thorough" on the full-body exam. Earlier, she removed a precancerous mole. All went well at the time and six months later. Very nice. Did not feel rushed.

it was a routine annual visit, but these are important and she always identifies things that need attention or that should be followed. She has been responsive when I had emergency visits and her work was always done well and healing was easy.

Dr. Berzin is an excellent physician - thoughtful, direct and a genuinely kind person. I have seen her for years and took my 17 y/o in to see her for acne. She was incredibly respectful of both the patient and the parent. And her staff runs a very efficient and pleasant office.

I have been seeing Dr. Berzin for years. She is extremely knowledgeable and talented in the field of dermatology. She did a great job of cutting out a skin cancer from my face, taking time and having the expertise, to make the cut and stitches leave as little scar as possible. She had also done beautiful work on removing a lot of sun damage from my face as well as other areas of body. I highly recommend this doctor as a safe physician to see.

I have never been treated with such disrespect by a doctor. I bought sunscreen. When I got home I realized that the tube would expire in 7 months and called. The receptionist said it was a mistake, but then I got another call reporting that Dr. Berzin said they would not be ordering more and would not take back the tube. Since I will not need the new tube for a few months, there was no way I would use it up. I asked for a call from the doctor, but never got one or a message. Outrageous!
