I debated this review but feel it is important since this is cancer care and people deserve EVERY opportunity to LIVE and be supported through such a difficult and unknown time. DO NOT accept this doctor as your oncologist she will treat you with zero dignity or respect. This doctor does not deserve any stars. When I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer I was so scared. The cancer had spread and I didn't think I would make it. The first day I met her she walked into my hospital room and I asked her if the news was true and she HARSHLY and COLDLY said "well yeah of course it is!" in a condescending and emotionless way the rest of her visit matched. I cried alone for hours without knowledge or guidance, sadly this was only ONCE OF MANY TIMES HER TREATMENT LEFT ME IN TEARS OF SADNESS over the next year. Each time I saw her at Southbay Oncology and Hemotology (her office), she would rush into the patient room coldly give me imaging results and walk out within 2 minutes without giving me time

The doctor & STAFF of cancer patients is everything. When a patient is made to feel like a burden ... a nuisance, it affects all aspects of treatment. Unfortunately, this is exactly how Dr. Norton's staff make me feel. If I could change doctors I would. :(

Dr Norton saved my wife's life. My wife had multiple-myloma in 1996. Was given a 3 months to live. Her tenacity was the catalyst that propelled the amazing work that was completed with a victory. My wife is still alive today! Thank you Dr. Norton.

She is very compassionate and explains everything that is happening to you in great detail. She takes time with you and never seems like she is in a hurry to get to the next patient. I wish that I was still in San Diego and under her care.
