Dr. Marina Barkov, MD

Dr. Barkov i an amazing doctor! She takes her time with you and genuinely cares about you. She also explains all my tests, takes her time with any questions you have. I do have to say, when WellMed took over the staff was rude and made you wait if they didn't like you or just because. My last visit though was different, they got new staff and he was very enjoyable and appt. was fast and efficient. I have been seeing Dr. Barkov for 2 years and have been very pleased with her ..

Dr Barkov is great! She is thorough and intelligent. Cares about her patients.

I found Dr Barkov to be very thorough, understanding and genuinely concerned about improving my health condition. The staff was very professional and pleasant.

This has been my PCP for over 17 years. Since her office is now managed by Well Med, her staff is rude and you must wait months to get an appointment as she is never available in a timely fashion. A once well managed practice is now an unpleasant hot mess. The disrespect to patients is off the charts.

I've been a regular patient of Dr Barkov for 7 years and never missed an appointment. She refused to fill my urgently needed prescription because I haven't had an appointment in one year. Isn't it the responsibility of her office to contact me if I need an appointment? Refusing to fill my prescription is an unnecessary threat and harmful to me.

Dr. Barkov was my GP for 2 years. If all you need from her are routine Rx's, she's probably fine; each time I went in with a simple request for refills, she was friendly and professional. But when I most needed the help of a good GP, her limits became very apparent. I'm still dealing with undiagnosed chronic fatigue after a year of trying to get her to help me. She referred me for a different test each time I went it, but only after being condescending and dismissive and asking me *every time* if I was sure I didn't just need an increase in my SSRI. I was never able to get through a full list of my symptoms with her; I would start listing, and she would quickly stop me to try to address one symptom at a time. It felt like she was trying to rush me out and didn't have the time or skill to take a more wholistic view. Most importantly, though, I went in for HRT and PrEP, and my first appointment, she made me feel like a medical side show exhibit. I'm so glad to be done with this practice.

I wasn't able to get a visit after multiple attempts. I've called multiple times and the staff seems unorganized. I called and spoke to staff members and was waiting for a callback for an appointment. Never received a callback. So I left a voicemail for a callback days later. Still nothing

Dr. Barkov is amazing - so glad I found her as my new PCP. First doctor I have felt comfortable with in a very long time. Addresssed all my concerns and made me feel relaxed.

I couldn't ask for a better office staff and Dr Barkov is very knowledgeable..she knows medicine without a doubt and practices it well and her bedside manor is second to none..she takes her time with you and make sure u understand your condition and treatment to be taken....she has a sense of humor! I highly recommend Dr Barkov!!!

caring, thorough, and smart. She LISTENS. She does not rush you in and out. She goes over test results and will answer any questions you have until you completely understand. Every time she has had to recommend a specialist, they are top notch. I have now been seeing her for about 7 years, and I have never been disappointed.

I love this practice. They do not rush, they take time to listen to their patients. When Dr Barkov was not available I seen Heather Barkov. She is a fantastic physician.

Her office staff is extremely unprofessional, unhelpful, nasty, and definitely not user friendly.
