Excellent as a doctor Excellent human being

There is usually a bit of a waiting time, But it is well worth it. He is keeping me alive no complaints.

My name is Isis M Gonzalez Soriano, I am nurse and I have a health condition and I have been visiting doctors for 4 years and thanks to a nurse at the South Miami hospital who recommended this doctor to me and he is the ONLY one who has been interested in my strange condition. Thanks Doc, grateful forever. Also very grateful for the excellent ARNP Hugo. Big hug to you both!!!!!

My appt was for 9 am and I was there on time. I watched Dr. Almeida park his truck on the 6th floor and arrive to work @ 9:43 a.m.! I waited several months and was supposed to be his 1st appt of the day but there were patients scheduled before me anyway and 8 patients in the waiting area when I walked in @ 9 am. I decided to leave and terminate Dr. Almeida from continuing to be my PMD. He is completely inconsiderate of his patient’s time. On my last visit, I waited almost 5 hrs after my appt time until I was called to see him. That’s why I waited months to specifically be the 1st appt (9am) this time. I definitely do not want or need a Doctor that is so blatantly inconsiderate of his patients. Unbelievable.

Excellent Doctor and person

He is a great and the best Dr that my husband and I had. Very professional, dedicated and listens very carefully. Even though with this difficult times and the pandemic he is giving the best for his patients Alfonso & Deisy Del Pozo

Dr. Almeida is my primary care physician.

Dr. Mario Almeida has been my primary doctor for a couple of decades, if not more. I can trust him and whatever he has prescribed for me, or recommended I do, has kept me healthy and happy. I highly recommend this doctor. Yes, there's a bit of wait to get an appointment and once you're in his office, to me it is worth it.

Dr Alemeida is supposed to be an eminence in Miami. His office is always jam packed with patients. He does spend a generous amount of time with you and does a thorough examination as well. I'm not sure if he's somewhat "test happy" or simply meticulous. The majority of his patients are between 70 to 90 + yrs old- walkers, wheelchairs and elders losing their balance and almost toppling over you is the ambiance. WARNING- be ready to waste 3-4 hours of your day in there. Waiting time is absurd.

this is the best doctor i ever had, human , knowledgeable , he actually listen to you unlike the doctors nowadays that are cash machines

He is a good doctor but his staff is extremely disorganized. They never respond to calls or requests for lab results. Appointments are not honored, as you must wait 2 hours after your appointment time ALWAYS!! Same for lab work, they tell you it is walk in anytime and in reality, you wait 1 hr to get a nurse to see you. Staff is always in small chat among themselves and not caring for efficiency or caring for patients.

He's very articulate with explanations but forgets not everyone is rehearsed on medical terms! He misdiagnosed a patient for 4 years. Had her spleen taken out, patient kept having high white blood cell counts told to take iron pills. He never investigated why her spleen had grown over 4lbs. Lots of back pains, trouble breathing, and eventually got huge growth on her neck which ointment was prescribed ,bottom line this patient had lymphoma and MARIO A ALMEIDA SUAREZ never diagnosed it!!!!
