Dr. Marisa Sturza, MD

Pros: the office is fairly timely for appointments, talking to a scheduler or to the nurse hotline. Cons: Non personalized care. This doctor was not practiced in being flexible to meet the needs of patients as they arise. There seemed to a strong preference to just follow their typical schedule of care and script. This methodology often came across as callous instead of collaborative or educational. Nurse hotlineThe nurses were not great at listening or taking information in. A nurse called my blood results “horrendous” but didn’t offer support in how to help me, despite me asking. I believe the staff are not supported and this clearly impacts patient care.Overall, I’d say Dr. Sturza would be a 4 star for regular gyno care and 2 star for pregnancy or OB care. If you have a medical condition, any type of other health complications I would recommend choosing another provider. Seeing this provider and interacting with their team added significant stress to a vulnerable time.

The Oregon Clinic OBGYN has a staff of only women and that was the first thing that made me feel all the more comfortable. Dr. Sturza and the staff present were all very compassionate and made my first experience here incredibly calm and smooth sailing. Dr. Sturza cares a lot about her patients and their well-being and was very thorough with me. It was made very apparent to me that their main goal is to make sure the patient feels safe and respected. Dr. Sturza also reassured me of many problems I was seeming to have and overall it was a very healing experience for me in a world that is not always kind. I highly recommend!!
