Provided Misdiagnosis of ADHD
My daughter saw Dr. Suppatkul but felt that Dr was not attentive to daughter’s concerns, and was unsupportive and disrespectful at times. Dr ended up misdiagnosing my daughter’s ADHD.

SSRI Withdrawal due to Unorganized Staff
I had been seeing Dr. Supptakul for 5+ years. I apparently missed a teledoc appointment, because the staff never called me after I confirmed, so 6 months later, my prescription was not renewed. I made an appointment with Dr. Suppatkul, which led to the "insurance nightmare" of needing referrals, PCP visits, and additional appointments with both my psychiatrist and PCP to get my prescription renewed. Again, I had been seeing this provider for 5+ years already, with my same insurance. All of this was explained to me ONE HOUR BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT TIME, after requesting a prescription refill 3 days prior. Sadly, I was never able to make an appointment with Dr. Suppatkul unless I wanted "to just pay out of pocket". This resulted in immediate, and quite violent, SSRI withdrawal symptoms of which I still have not fully recovered. Irresponsible, inconsiderate, and abysmal behavior for a provider that deals with serious mental health issues.

Never felt like she listened very well to my concerns, and would prescribe medications based off of very brief, 5 minute appointments. It felt like she was completely lacking in empathy and even told my parent that I wasn't depressed, despite prescribing me various medications for depression. Overall it felt very strange and uncomfortable to be treated by her from a child's perspective.

Dr. Suppatkul has a conservative approach and does not over medicate. By sticking with and trusting in her process, the issues we were dealing with due to my son’s ADHD have been effectively treated. The results have been beyond our expectations and I’m amazed at how the medicine management plan/process created by Dr. Suppatkul has been so successful. This was not an overnight outcome, but took months to see results. Extremely grateful and happy to have found Dr. Suppatkul.

When my daughter would not initially follow her directions to enter treatment, she said she would not see her any longer, which I understood. A week or so later my daughter agreed to enter treatment and did. I called the Dr. back and she said she would still refuse to see her. I didn't understand but moved on to finding another doctor only to learn she had black balled my daughter with her entire network. Very petty, immature and unprofessional. And put my daughter at substantial risk.
