Dr. Marise St Charles, DO

It's always a long wait for this practice. Some staff are nicer than others but not really helpful overall. To get in touch with the office to confirm an appointment that made a year ago was rerouted at least 3 times and still couldn't get in touch with the office. The doctor is okay.

The title speak to my visit. The cold callous behavior of the staff at the Hartsdale location was what got me. The only staff that was pleasant was the doctor's assistant Alondra. Can't say I saw the doctor that has received this many positive reviews, as the doctor I encountered was as cold as her front desk staff. Her behavior was probably attributed to me arriving at 12:40 instead off 12:30 for my scheduled 1:00 appointment. The request was made of me to arrive at 12:30 at 10:24 after I missed a call at 8:43 the day of the appointment. My initial appointment was for 3:00. Upon arrival at 12:40 one of the woman at the front desk made a statement, let me see if the doctor can see you as we did tell you to arrive at 12:30. This was my first visit to the office as I needed to establish a new doctor since I had lost the services of my doctor of 20 years due to issues with Montefiore contract renewal and covid a few years ago. Thanks for the memorable disappointment of a visit. No thanks

She handled my pre natal care. She’s intelligent, experienced and informative but most of all she’s kind and patient. All the qualities I needed for my high risk pregnancy and care.

Lacks empathy. I was just a number to her. I’ve overheard her with a nurse talking about a patient in labor that she’s “gonna be a c section anyway” with no sense of urgency.

I have been a patient her's for a little over 10 years and she is amazing, attentive, and easy to talk to. She is very informative and she is a great listener.

Dr St Charles is a caring and warm doctor attention to detail and great bed side manner. I am over 50 and talking about ones body can be difficult. She created a safe and caring environment. I also now take my 18 teen year old to her also.

I had a very positive experience with Dr. St. Charles, she explained thoroughly and explained procedures in depth. Will definitely recommend her to family and friend.

Not a very positive experience. I had the feeling she did not like working with mature women. She seemed to only want to work with young mommies and their babies, with a negative, judgmental attitude toward me as a woman over 50 with a sex life. Unpleasant in general bordering on cruel.

This woman is abysmal. She's rude and talks to me like I'm an idiot. She never explains what she's doing and pressures me to do things I don't want to do without explaining anything to me. She's unkind and untrustworthy.

I was scheduled for an appointment to do a procedure. Yet, I was never given my results or a diagnosis. This not only causes anxiety for a patient but calls the doctor's ability into question. Very disappointed.
