Upon the review of my 'last name' AND as soon as I gave them my Birthdate and First name, They said to contact my Primary have them provide Authorization & Blood work, FAX it over and We will call you back... I had to call back to retrieve their fax number, is how fast they hung-up the first time. I called back to speak to the Office Manager, it was clear that in this office they review NAME RECOGNITION & INSURANCE TYPE FOR MEDICARE BILLING RATES before they give a patient an appointment ? Very hard to make an appointment as the doctors works in the office two days a week. A month after I chose her as my doctor, she changed her policy and my company (LACare) was not accepted anymore, her team never told me this, but instead I found it out 3 weeks after it was changed from my wife?! Definitely not recommended.

I needed an appointment the same day, I told her staff what it was for, they talked to the doctor and she made room for me even though it was a busy Friday for their office. I appreciate the care and compassion that Dr Chegounchi provides. I will definitely refer friends and family!

Dr. Chegounchi takes time to discuss health issues and provides good patient care. Her staff is quite efficient.
