Dr. Marjorie Yong, MD

I’ve been seeing Dr. Yong for almost two years now and I love her!! She is kind and genuine and is determined to find the root of any issue I may have. Through her help, I now have a team of doctors I see, everything from my dentist to my gyno to my dermatologist. My main goal when I came to see her was my weight loss and thanks to her I’m finally getting closer to my dream body. I mean I’ve lost 20lbs and counting since the beginning which is HUGE for me. Anyway, she is a lovely person and a fantastic doctor. I recommend her to everyone lol

My experience with Dr. Yong has been amazing. I came in expecting to go through routine check-ups and be told 'need to lose weight' which is true. Dr. Yong, worked with the goal I've set up for myself, 'to get healthy' and she just took things from there, reviewing my lab work, making recommendations, and educating me on my needs. All of this has evolved on a weight loss journey for me. I've done sleep studies which really helped me navigate my situation with sleep apnea and now I have a CPAP machine that has helped improve my quality of life. She also helped me losing weight by educating me on the importance of water, a proper meal with the help of a recommended shopping list, and some medication to help the process. I've lost a good amount of weight, around 25 if I recall correctly and still going.My experience has been smooth with making appointments and going in for my biweekly checkups.

I am continually impressed with Dr Yong and her staff. She is the most thorough and caring doctor I have ever seen. During my first visit we went through my entire medical history, she took meticulous notes and asked thoughtful questions. I felt seen and heard, and she accurately diagnosed an issue I'd been dealing with for over 6 months by the end of my first visit. I even went to specialists who didn't correctly diagnose what she figured out almost immediately. If you want a doctor who will treat you with respect and care, who will go through your entire medical history with you and guide you through her personal medical books to explain her thoughts. Dr Yong is your doctor.

Dr. Yong has changed my life. After suffering from extreme fatigue and unexplained physical symptoms for years, I participated in a sleep study as per Dr. Yong's recommendation. It was explained that I was experiencing a lack of oxygen to the brain, of which can lead to a variety of problems throughout life if it goes untreated. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea, and have been using a CPAP machine ever since. I don't experience any symptoms, and can now be present and active in my life again. I no longer feel like I am going to pass out from the moment I wake up in the morning. I am so grateful to Dr. Yong and the Yong at Heart team, and thank them for making this process so easy and manageable.

Dr. Yong really takes them time to listen and work with me. I’m not an easy patient - I often take a lot of encouragement to do the things she suggest - but I never feel like she is “mad” at me - she is very understanding of my idiosyncrasies and very kind at working with them.

Dr. Yong has fixed my entire outlook on life. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and narcolepsy, and she took the time and care to help me find alternative solutions like a CPAP, rather than deal with heavy medication. That's the biggest thing for me, she really cares and helped run quarterback with other UCLA specialists, which led me to a pinched nerve in my neck. Dr. Yong will sort out your issues and naturally they usually stem from sleep. I'm using a CPAP now and my life has completely turned around in a few short months thanks to her actually getting to the root of my issues. I trust her with my life.

If you’ve ever looked into CPAP therapy, you know it’s an investment. The sleep studies, the doctor’s appointments, getting the right equipment… you know any of that can go wrong because there is no one-size-fits-all sleep apnea treatment. For me, it was downright intimidating just to start. That’s why I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Marjorie Yong’s office. Their wonderful staff helped me every step of the way. I couldn’t have fixed any of my problems if the staff wasn’t as good as they were. Like the sleep study. They actually have a real house, with real bedrooms. Of course, if your situation requires it, they also have hospital facilities to for the sleep studies just like everyone else. But the sleeping in a regular bedroom was more important than you might think. There are wires and electrodes stuck to you. A sleep mask attached to your face. These conditions are unavoidable. And to get the most out of it, to make it all worth it… of course you have to actually sleep

After I was diagnosed with sleep apnea based on Dr. Yong's studies I was able to start CPAP therapy in a timely manner. I've been receiving CPAP therapy for about 6 months and my brain has been healed with all the oxygen I get from the machine that has resulted in the following: less anxiety/depression, loss of significant weight and body fat, higher intellectual functioning, lowered blood pressure, and better male enhancement.

Doctor Yong is not only brilliant, detail oriented and focused on care she is also extremely empathic and kind. She is the first physician that was genuinely interested in my symptoms and asked probing questions, offering new insights into my future care. I would highly recommend her to any of my family or friends. She is truly special.

Dr. Majorie and her staff are incredible. I am so thankful I found them. They are kind, caring, helpful, and supportive of, not only my health, but also me as an individual. She is so sweet and knows so much about health in every aspect. She takes time on my individual needs which shows that she actually cares about my body.

I always dreaded going to the doctor until I met Dr. Marjorie. I had scary trip to the ER and got a very inaccurate diagnosis, but I was able to see Dr. Marjorie the next morning and she had everything ready to figure it out. She takes the time to explain everything to you every step of the way, eliminating all the stress and fear about what to expect. She guided me to see the right specialists and is getting my health quickly on track. I couldn't recommend her enough - I love her and her staff!

Dr. Yong has been a dramatic improvement from my previous doctor. She set my health goals and went to work addressing each one. For overall health care, I feel she is unsurpassed. In addition, her office runs like clockwork. I am never kept waiting for a referral or prescription refill. I am never kept waiting for a return call or email I feel that I actually have a relationship with her practice. Highly recommend.

Dr. Marjorie Yong is simply AMAZING!!! She was very thorough, and spent quite a while talking with us and reviewing previous medical records. However, it was when our daughter faced a severe life threatening medical crisis several months later, that I can confidently testify that Dr. Yong is a one-of-kind human being dedicated to her craft. I cannot even begin to put in to words how grateful our family is for her medical knowledge and pure heart and soul that she invests in her patients.
