Flawless hernia surgery
I went to Dr. Bertolozzi because he removed a small cancerous section of my colon 6 years ago, and did a flawless and painless successful surgery at that time. I have had no reoccurrence or difficulty as a result of that procedure.He did another perfect surgery on my inguinal hernia with a level of professional competence that I very much appreciate. Everything went as he predicted, and I am recovering very well.

Breast surgery
When faced with a diagnosis of possible breast cancer, I had no clue where to start. Dr Bartolozzi was highly recommended to me by the radiologist at UVA Health Haymarket Medical Center. I was not disappointed. Dr Bartolozzi's calm demeanor put me at ease immediately. He was very professional but compassionate at the same time and put my (and my family's) fears to ease. I wasn't just a number. He thoroughly removed and cleared my mass and it's attachments and even called me the day after my surgery to insure I was comfortable and asked if I had any questions. His staff was outstanding. Very thorough and timely, leaving no procedure information unanswered. Outstanding customer service. I was concerned that my surgery would be at Prince William Hospital, but he assured me that it was much improved after being sold to UVA. Again, he was honestly correct. I would highly recommend Dr. Bartolozzi.
