Dr. Mark Bej, MD

I've been with Dr Bej since , 2018 when I had the unfortunate issue of a stroke at a semi young age. Dr Bej has since , ran test that caught issues that Dr have said they could not explain. He always takes the to look up thing that may not even be in field of expertise , to give me a little insight. His staff has always been amazing in Elyria and Sandusky , whenever I have called to accommodation they have made it happen. Dr Bej has always told me what test he feels are necessary an which are not but always states whatever your comfortable with we can presue.

I never even got to see this Doctor. I waited three weeks for an appointment to have a test to FINALLY hopefully get answers to pain I’ve been experiencing for years. They called me THE DAY BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT to tell me that because of my high deductible insurance, I would be expected to pay for my test IN FULL at the time of the appointment. When I said I couldn’t but could make payments, the extremely rude and uncaring woman on the other line said that that wouldn’t be possible because at that rate it would take years for me to pay it off. I don’t know what they expect. I work hard, I’m in pain all the time and trying to get answers. I do what I can. But that’s not good enough for this Doctor. Apparently the money is more important than a hard working mother, willing to pay, but limited, just trying to make it in this world. I told them to cancel my appointment. I do not recommend.

Dr. Bej is deeply knowledgeable and caring. He is the best! I recommended him to my grandson, and he was so impressed by how smart Dr. Bej was. Grandson felt relieved that someone recognized and treated his ailment and that Dr. Bej explained everything to him. In my own experience, I so appreciate his deep structure knowledge! Awesome! He listens to his patients! I came using equipment from a different company and have never been asked to change. He works with any reputable company.

Please be aware that Dr. Bej receives a kickback from every bi-pap or c-pap machine you get from the supply company. He will charge you for things that are not covered by your insurance and not tell you that he is doing this, and his office staff is extremely rude and condescending when you question this. I would recommend seeing a doctor who is more ethical and not just in it for the money.
