This cardiologist is the absolute worst. He keeps on prescribing me heart monitors, and then telling me there’s nothing wrong with me. I have been diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and I am almost certain I have pots. I deal with frequent syncope events, witnessed by my boyfriend, get high heart rates of 200 bpm, and am frequently dizzy during standing/ showering/ any normal activities. He has just told me to work out. When I was consistently active things were worse and I have told him this. He refuses to do any other diagnostics than just a heart monitor (I am allergic to adhesive, these are massively uncomfortable for me) and send me on my way telling me there is nothing wrong with me. I’m exhausted and he has been no help. In my notes he also put that I can’t have pots because of my syncope, which is untrue, as over a 3rd of pots patients experience syncope. He is inaccurate and unwilling to help. Do not go to him if you want any kind of quality care.
