Dr. Mark Canales, MD

San Antonio office staff is rude, lazy. Diane was going to put a 24 hour monitor on me on 3/31/21. This is now 4/29/21. I've spoken with Mary, Mandy and Diane numerous times asking they contact my insurance to let them know it's the only monitor used in that office. A Medi-lynx representative, the company who makes the monitor, is the only one who called my insurance. The rep then called me and said their monitor is out of network. The doctor's office staff in San Antonio has repeatedly told me for 1 month that I should call insurance and tell them I need the monitor, to work out a payment plan with medi-lynx, and get in an Indigent program with the rep to get free monitor use. Anything but contact my insurance themselves. Insurance told me the doctor's office can submit a pre-authorization request that includes information that medi-lynx is the only monitor used there. Mandy now says she sent a preauthorization 3/24/21 and was told one was not needed. That was for the office visit.

Dr. Canales was the Cardialogist that took care of my husband at the hospital. I am a nurse for 40 years and can state that he handle this case very well. My husband did expire but Dr Canales did everything possible to save my husband of 43 years. His bedside manners were professional but also very caring to our family. I will use Dr. Canales as our family cardiologist from now on, and will recommend him to family and friends.
