Lifesaver
Dr. Cowan is the most wonderful and amazing doctor who saved my life in May 2022 when I needed an emergency surgery. My husband and I were so scared when we learned that this surgery was critical but Dr. Cowan’s genuine shared concern and ability to calmly explain what was happening to my body and how the surgery would fix it, we could with confidence move forward and allow him to do what he is well trained and clearly talented to do, save my life! He and his OR team and all my nurses at Star Valley Health were incredible. I can’t thank him enough now that I’m through a very painful and difficult time in my life!

Dr. Cowan was part of a surgical team made up of Dr. Milas and Dr. Fang among others. Dr. Cowan was very personable, professional, and explained the procedure to me and gave me good information on post operative recovery.
