My bone spur issue( fascia plalntaris)
I been to 2 pt and chiro and one podiatrist for 3 months no progress until my wife recommended Dr. Mark Dollar who cured her bone spur back when he was in Falls church. His unique technique of wrapping my foot was incredible and was only 2 times visiting him but achieved a great result and now i see lots of progress in healing the heel.

Very Mean & Lacks Knowledge of Proper Post-Op Care
Dr. Dollard performed surgery on my foot in 2021. After appearing helpful and caring initially, Dr. Dollard became increasingly belittling, dismissive, argumentative and outright mean as it became apparent the surgery not only did not go as expected, but that careless decisions he made regarding my recovery produced avoidable and, so far, irreparable damage to the surgical area as well as other parts of my body, including my ankle, nonsurgical parts of the top of my foot, knee, and hip. I would love to tell you his behavior was somehow a reaction to my own, however, in spite of all this I have only ever been very nice and appreciative to Dr. Dollard and his office staff and have only ever reached out sparingly, non-critically, and with hope of finding a path to a full recovery. Just now I called to leave a voicemail regarding a mistake on my bill and Dr. Dollard answered the phone saying, "oh here's a patient from many years ago who thinks she can call me anytime," and then hung up the

An excellent physician
Explained in detail the causes of the problem with my foot and used a model to show where my previous toe operations were resulting in my pain. Offered to provide a cushion to help alleviate the friction between toes causing my discomfort. Dr. Dollard is a very skilled physician with compassion and extensive knowledge.

DO NOT GO TO HIM!! Can I select 0 stars?
He yelled at my child, and after spending 6 minutes on the entire appointment he decided not to treat her. I brought in my 6 year old daughter with a referral to get a wart removed from her foot. Elsewhere, coming in with a referral would get you treatment for that ailment. Not from Dollard. He used our first appointment to say "yes, that's a wart - come back again for treatment". At the next appointment, he told my daughter the laser would feel like a strong rubber band snapping. This scares, not comforts, a 6 year old. She was fidgety and uncomfortable. He then yelled at her to sit still and told me he did it to calm her and that he's great with children. After spending all of 6 minutes trying to "calm her" with more yelling, he decided he wasn't going to bother to treat her. With insurance, we spent $100 on two co-pays, took time off from work and school and all we got was yelling for our trouble!!

Dr. Dollard performed 6 different surgeries on my foot at one time. He was compassionate, thorough, and exceptionally skilled. He was available to me (even from his home) if I needed to talk to him. His expertise is top notch. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. Thank you, Dr. Dollard!

One of the best podiatrist out there. Was president of the local chapter. He was professional, witty, and most importantly solved my plantar fascitis.

I first met Dr. Dollard in November 2014. I was in the INOVA Emergency Room facing the possibility of my left big toe being cut off by the interns. Dr. Dollard arrived, examined my toe and proceed to halt the surgery and instead treat the infection in the toe. It took time for the deep wound to healed, but the toe is still attached to my foot. and I can wiggle the toe thanks to Dr. Dollard's professional care and experience. I would recommend him to anyone suffering from diabetic foot problems.

I am a new patient of Dr. Dollard's. I had been living several years with foot pain which made it unbearable to walk. I'd been turned away from another doctor indicating he couldn't do anything. I posted a request for recommendation on a local Facebook group and I immediately got a text about him and how wonderful he was. I got an appointment very quickly. Dr. Dollard was straight forward and knew exactly what was wrong. He scheduled surgery and removed my cysts. NO more foot pain!

Spend five minutes with me. Didn't seem to want to listen, only tell me how I felt and what was going on. Office is basically non-existent in Arlington. Secretaries and other workers carrying on loud conversations. Basically a disaster of a practice.
