Promised me relief but just made me worse
Started seeing the staff at orthopedic and spine in Columbus to continue my treatment for issues related to a herniated disc degenerative disc disease, and searing pain in my left leg and foot. I was evaluated after completing my history of treatment and some X-rays and MRI and was referred for a laminectomy to alleviate the pressure on my disc. I also had made them aware of a previous problem withy left leg that has plagued me since my 20's. But they ignored that issue and continued to tell me it was the herniated or bulging disc and they could correct it with surgery. Promises, promises which were all lies in my opinion. Surgery was performed in March 2024 and after the 6 to 8 weeks post op healing I was and still am in significant pain. I did not have any pain at all in my right leg or foot, now it is 100 times worse in my left leg and foot AND MY RIGHT FOOT! soon as the surgery performed by Mark Flood was complete they all just seemed to ignore me and was told I'm an enigma.

Fantastic Surgical team.
The Ortho sport & spine team truly are wonderful. They take their time with each patient to make sure they answer all questions no matter how long it may take. Even though I was nervous about having surgery the team at Ortho Sport made sure I understand everything and did everything they could to alleviate my nerves. They took great care of me before, during, and after surgery.

I was walking with a cane for 2 years before the surgery. Then 9 years ago I had surgery at Laser Spine Institute in Tampa Florida performed by Dr Mark Flood. I haven’t used a cane since.

I just had my first consultation with Dr Flood. Hands down. He is very smart and thorough, but kind. He explained everything very well and took time to listen. He is straight to the point which I appreciate. I feel confident moving forward with his recommendation on my neck issue.

DR Flood is an excellent surgeon and the best doctor in all aspect. He did not make me feel rushed each visit. He listened my concern and tried all optional treatment before I had my surgery. I was bit frustrated during many different tests I went through and alternative trials. However, the most importantly he did fix my neck and back problems like a magician. He truly is a humble doctor and a good human being.

Dr. Flood, and Laser Sine Institute took my already extremely painful back situation, and made it exponentially worse. Dr. Flood said he was going to perform a laminectomy to widen my spinal and create more room for the nerves. Whatever he did, made my condition much worse. It is a year later, and I am bed ridden and can only be on my feet for a few hours a day. Bending over for even a short amount of time causes excruciating pain for days. Don't EVER let Dr. Flood operate on you. RUN AWAY!
