Dr. Mark Fradin, MD

My and my family's relationship with Chapel Hill Dermatology originated in 1989 with its founding principle, Dr. Bob Gilgore. At the time my now deceased husband was a patient. It was soon there after that Dr Fradin joined the practice and he has been exceptional in every way from that point to the present. This, even though I have not had reason to visit on a regular basis until recently when, during a routine exam I was diagnosed with melanoma. Once again Dr. Fradin has revealed himself to be markedly well informed and personable, ensuring that I understand every aspect of whatever condition spurred a visit. And stemming from a recent diagnosis of melanoma, he has exceeded expectations when collaborating with with my melanoma surgeon at Duke University. I am honored to have Dr. Fradin as an advisor.

I've had a lot of doctors in a rather long life but this man is the best. Very personable and knowledgeable, an amazing repertoire of information on even esoteric skin issues. It's an enlightening experience just to listen to him expound on some health problem. He takes his time, there is no sense of a rush through 15 minute visit. The practice is run efficiently. I've had one half hour wait in 20 years. Strong background and 32 years of experience. Good man and good doctor.

Easily one of the best doctors I've ever been to. Explains things clearly and concisely. I was very impressed by his knowledge and skill. Very clearly articulated my options and presented the positives and,negatives of those choices.

Always the same: a gentleman who thoroughly listens, and never rushes the patient. He is a great diagnostician.
