Dr. Mark Fromer, MD

Dr Fromer is a very patient, pleasant and fantastic doctor. I had a freak sport accident 5 yrs ago with my left eye( partial torn retina) . Dr. Fromer operated on me and basically safe my ( left) eye sight. Just had my annual check eye check up and it’s doing great . I’m so grateful dr Fromer for his excellent care.

The visit was long. I arrived at approximately 2:45 for 3:00 appt and did I not finish till approximately 6.

Big improvement in scheduling since my last appointment

Dr. Fromer and the Eye Center staff are all terrific. My only complaint is the long periods of time spent in the waiting room. I had a 3:30 PM appointment for my annual checkup and I wasn't able to leave the office until nearly 6:30 PM.

Excellent Dr. Just had a very long wait to see him while at the office.

He is friendly, remembers your name and he tells you the truth about what is going on with your eyes without scaring you.

Before surgery: Comprehensive evaluation and easy to follow consultation whether PRK is right for you. No pressure. During surgery: Flawless process with calm step by step explanations of what is happening (which you want to hear if someone takes a laser to your eyes….). After surgery: Easy but comprehensive after surgery treatments and consultation.Glad I did it!

Service provided was through and pleasant, staff was courteous and helpful ! Dr Fromer and Dr Lang are great !!!

I've depended on Dr. Fromer and his associates for several years, and everything about them and their facility is as good as it gets. Their knowledge, their command of their profession and technology, and their unfailingly pleasant, calm, and explanatory interplay makes ease and relaxation of what might be -- in the company of less adept. informed, and kind people -- a challenge. One couldn't find better care than that offered by Dr. Fromer and his staff, from reception to check-out and everyone in between.

The service was good, but the waiting awful.

It was surgery day. I was treated so professionally, & with kind bedside manner by all the staff in the surgical area. I was truly pleased. Really nice people!!

Horrible Experience

I've been a patient for more than 20 years. The only issue is the wait time. I try to have the first appointment of the day. Dr. Fromer is smart but can be a little arrogant. He knows his stuff. I feel very confident about his medical decisions and expertise. The staff members are very nice and caring.

I was referred to Dr. Fromer by a colleague, once his colleague could no longer help me. Dr. Fromer seemed concerned with my condition he assured me he would save my vision. When this all started I was able too see from both eye's. After many visits (approx. 3 yrs.) many injection's 3 surgeries I was left blind in 1 eye and only approx. 30% of vision in the other eye. At my last visit I was told by him people loose limb's everyday you will have to deal with it. The worst experience ever.

I did not see Dr. Mark fromer. But went to his practice, Fromer eye center. If you have any other option, I urge you to use them. i have had eye problems since early childhood and know the difference between good and bad care. Do not go here if you want good care. I would not be surprised if they were a Medicaid/ Medicare mill.i will not return and, if you have other options, use them.
