Dr Hoffman has taken care of me for nearly 25 years. When I met him I was constantly in psyche wards, in mental anguish and in physical pain which was chronic. I fired KMH, put my mental health in his hands and I haven't had to visit a psyche ward even once in the past 15 years. As i age he cares for my chronic pain, mental issues and does not drug shame and he LISTENS always. He is kind, humorous and empathetic. He never fails to inform and educate me about what is happening with my health. I trust him implicitly with all my health care issues. Without his amazing care, I wouldn't be where I am today. He also cared for my daughter and granddaughter until they moved out of the area. Everyone in his office is just awesome. Professional, understanding and attentive. you won't find better healthcare anywhere.

Indifference
He told my 88 year old mother with red, swollen, and painful feet that there is nothing he can do for her and sent her home without treatment. As a son I feel that he should have at least given her options, or recommended a specialist. As elderly people my mother respected him and went home and now is currently in great pain and worsening conditions thinking that there is nothing more to be done. She can barely walk and stays in bed most of the time.

Caring and understanding
While we aren’t under Dr.Hoffmans Care, he was the after hours/weekend on-call when my daughter ended up having breathing complications on top of her already complicated health which ended up with Dr Hoffman taking our call a few times during the weekend of urgent care and hospital transfers. To top it off we added a pharmacy issue and still he was so understanding and kind. Even our pharmacists raved about him! We’ve loved our family doctor for the last 16 years but if he ever left and we had to find someone else I would definitely call Dr Hoffman.

I have great confidence in Doctor Hoffman. He is kind and he listens. He is frank when I ask him to be, and is willing to give straight answers to my questions. His office staff follows through on appointments, prescriptions, and the like. Doctor Hoffman is a professional, and I strongly value his advice. I am very pleased with the care I get from Doctor Hoffman, and from Sound Family Health.

He's a physician for physicians. He is personable, knowledgeable, experienced, and thorough. His office is very pleasant, efficient. I am a recently retired physician and I feel very fortunate to have him has my primary care.

Dr Hoffman has been my dr. For about 20 years. He WAS a very attentive and thourogh and caring dr. Until now. Now he is cold, rude and obviously not interested in me or my care. Yes I have struggled with insurance over the years and he was always patient and understanding. And I can proudly say he now gets paid on time. But now he makes it very obvious he doesn't want me as his patient. I was not taking advantage of him like he seems to think. I have no other dr. To watch over my INR.
