Dr Kraus is very kind person but an extremely dismissive doctor. I saw him in Oct 2021 for mid foot pain that he claimed was from a sprain or fracture but he was not sure. My pain was actually from an extra bone in my foot that he knew about but failed to tell me (I only found out about this bone because my new doctor was going through Dr. Kraus' notes in August 2023). The next time I saw him was in October 2022 for an ankle injury and he neglected me again. My mom had to push for testing and answers to my pain. When I finally got the testing, he lied about the results again. He only stopped neglecting me once I developed CRPS, but even then he just sent me to BCH because he did not want to deal with me (keep in mind I still had an injury that needed treating as well). I now have had multiple surgeries to treat the problems that he ignored and I have another one coming up. I strongly believe that if Dr Kraus had treated my injuries properly then I wouldn't have developed CRPS.

Wonderful experience! When our daughter broke her elbow he walked us through the surgical steps putting our mind at ease and hers!

My femur was broken. He did an excellent repair and I was out on crutches (no cast) the same afternoon. He also kept my family and friends well-informed.
