Appalled by lack of care
Rushed, incomplete exam, if you can even call it that. He seemed to have made up his mind that my child's injury wasn't serious before he even came out. I'm thankful that my own experience and medical background means all I really needed was a radiology report because that is all we got from the almost 3 hour wait in the ER. Certainly didn't get any medical care from 'Dr.' Larson. I know the ER is a different world and sometimes speed is literally life and death. But speed doesn't mean you skip taking a history of the incident that brought your patient in or skip a thorough exam. And since the staff had time to gossip in the back room (not an assumption, I was listening to them while we waited and I witnessed Dr. Larson participating in the conversation for at least a bit) it seems they were not busy enough to warrant the brush off my child received. He also discussed medical information in the open waiting room which is a HIPAA violation. I will be filing a complaint.

MVA on the freeway and we went to the ER. He was very receptive and I’m thankful for all he did to help our family. I was in pain but more concerned about my daughter and wife.

This man Dr. Mark Larson is rude, thinks himself a god, I have unfortunately seen him twice at capital medical ER. I refuse to go there if he is working, and he told me he is there for the important stuff. He didn't follow my primary doctor's orders must of never of read the orders. I have never met a worse doctor. Save yourself the frustration avoid this doctor , don't go to the ER at Capital Medical when he is there. Yes I have filed a complaint and Capital Medical did follow up with me.

This guy is a bad joke! $1,269.00 for an E.R. visit where he saw me for 5 minutes, tops. (oh, and he looked at an X-ray for a minute or so). When I call the number on a contact sheet off the internet they have never heard of him. Great way to isolate yourself from irate patients, I wouldn't let this guy touch me for a gunshot wound! What a jerk!
