Dr. Mark McCommons, MD

He treated my father and told him he was dying would be dead in 2 weeks and also tried sending him to nursing home and hospice without my knowledge or consulting me said he didn’t have family which was not true he also told my Father he would not make through another heart cath and he did it’s been almost a year ago and he is still alive DO NOT RECOMMEND

My experience with this physician was very poor. He refused to listen. He made callous, cruel and baseless 'predictions' regarding health conditions in which he has no expertise. My recovery from a relatively minor illness was made more complicated and prolonged because of his medical decisions. I do not recommend.

My husband was in the hospital due to high blood pressure. He also has stage 4 cancer. Dr Mc Commons came into the room and within seconds sucked all the oxygen out of the room. He very bluntly informed my husband every chance he could that my husband had stage 4 cancer and argued with me about what the oncologist had said. This man has absolutely no bedside manor an when he left my husband began crying and had lost all hope and began calling his children to say good bye. This man should not be practicing medicine!

My dad has been in the hospital twice in the last month. Dr McCommons was great! He listened to what my dad had to say and he answer his questions thoroughly. We got more information from him regarding my dad's health while being seen by Dr McCommons than dad has received from any of his other doctors in the last several years. We would highly recommend Dr McCommons!

Dr. Mccommons has no respect for a human being. He will not answer questions, and simply shows no care at all. My dad was in the hospital for 2 weeks the last week of his life Dr. McCommons was the attending and showed no respect for him at all. Treated him like he was just a number not a person.
