Dr. Mcgrath became my doctor about a week before I had the worst medical scare of my life. I couldn't be more thankful and happy that I was able to be his patient through it all. Dr. McGrath listened to my family when we told him about our health history and was able to identify the correct cause of my health issues, while other doctors did not listen and misdiagnosed the problem.

Excellent Caring Physician
Dr McGrath truly cares about the long term overall health of his patient. He not only new as much about me and my health issues as he could on our first visit but also how they affect each other as well as what the best combination of medications work most effectively to achieve wellness in its entirety, not just symptom by symptom. He listens and sees you as a person not a patient number.

Came in with a positive attitude for first visit, didn’t listen to a word. Demanded to know about private information from another clinic. Refused to prescribe much needed medication. I’m 73 . Was clearly angry when I got scared and left me there.

Not Present. Literally.
I went to see Dr. McGrath today about abdominal discomfort and he refused to see me because I had uncompleted lab work. Which I would understand, but the appt for the lab work is in a month from now and for an unrelated problem. After talking to management I was told he didn't want me to have to pay for an appt and not go over anything. Being turned away for not completing unrelated labs is incredibly unethical. Also, if I didn't want to pay for an appt I wouldn't have made one. No doctor should be making a decision if a patient should be seen if they are there for a valid complaint. Part of their duty is to, at the very least, show empathy towards the patient. I was later told he had no idea I was there for an unrelated issue even though I clearly stated why I was there when making the appointment. So I guess we can add poor reading comprehension to unethical and non-empathetic. Don't bother with him. Find someone who will listen and care and, at the very least, see you.

Unconcerned distant did not offer help.
My doctor left and was replaced by McGrath. McGrath did not offer alternatives to stated problems with current heart medication or recent weight loss. A lack of concern left me with a feeling that this doctor was not interested in my health or wellbeing.
