Dr. Mark Meyer, MD

Dr. Meyer has worked with and treated my condition for years. I have degenerative disc disease and he has tried various treatments to keep me out of pain successfully. I have had several injections and he is very knowledgeable about my condition and knowing how to treat it. I highly recommend!

My experience with Dr Meyer and his staff was not good and I will not be returning. I had an epidural shot which lasted for 3 days. At my follow up visit with his PA I told him of my experience and asked if there was any further treatment to relieve my pain. He said he would consult with Dr Meyer and asked me to wait in the waiting room. After 45 minutes I had to leave, I saw him in the reception area and he said he would call me. It has been a month and I have left messages for him 3 times. The message I get is that they do not want to bother with me. After this treatment I cannot recommend Dr Meyer to anyone.

Dr Meyer is the best! He has helped me, my husband and my sister-in-law. We love him! He listens then decides the best option for you. He is not judgemental as so many pain doctors have become with all the abuse of narcotics out there. There are legitimate pain patients. Thank you for all you have done for us.

Dr. Meyer was recommended to me by my Neurosurgeon Dr. Chad Prusmack. Dr. Prusmack is the only Dr. on earth I would ever let near my back so when he suggested seeing Dr. Meyer I knew I was in good hands. I have had nine back surgeries and was living in constant pain. Dr. Meyer has helped me so much and I trust him completely. I have also been in medical sales for many years and choose my Dr.s very carefully. Sadly chronic pain affects many people so if you are in need of someone who truly cares about his patients, I highly recommend him. His MA Nicky is a doll and also a great help.

Great communicator

Dr Meyer and his staff are excellent professionals. they have treated me so well with kindness for some time and through some of my lifes troublesome accidents. I recommend this doctor because he listens, he cares and understands what people go through in life living with pain. Be it temporary or life long, a patient can get the best care in Colorado Springs for Dr Meyer.

Dr Meyer treated me for severe neck pain. I previously had two fusions in the past. Anterior and posterior and pain started up again and it was chronic and severe. It caused my blood pressure to rise. He finally did a Rhizotomy and I was in horrible pain for a couple of weeks. Couldn't even move from bed. The usual pain continued for a few months. Then suddenly I realized the pain was gone. Very little pain like normal people when I overdo and I mean overdo.

I'm not sure the pain injections are going to work based on my prognosis but I'm glad I'm trying it before going down the surgery road. My experience has been professional, friendly, willing to explain everything and compassion. Dr. Meyer is amazing. My first injection was under sedation but my second was not and he walked me through every step. Every time I felt pain he would say with sincerity "i'm sorry" and that made me feel better. I highly recommend Dr. Meyer and his staff.

I saw Dr. Meyer only once. After that, I was made to continue my treatment by seeing Meyer's PA David Faron. Mr. Faron seemed understanding at first, but after several appointments, and due to a misunderstanding, he accused me of doing unethical things. He was so judgemental, so rude, and he so harshly demeaned my ability to be a decent human being. He didn't even know me. Mortified, he said he refused to help me unless I stopped crying. Help me? He had no intention of being helpful.

Dr. Meyer has a decent bedside manner. He did not explain that I would be in severe withdrawal. Unbeknownst to me, I offended the front desk manager Crystal. She kept cutting me off to rush me off the phone as I tried to explain my concerns in detail. It was clear that she was doing a poor job at multitasking. I received a call back from the PA, David Faron. He was disrespectful, condescending, and rude. When I requested that I see Dr. Meyer instead they cancelled my care for non-compliance.

I trust Dr. Meyer and his staff 100% each time I have my injections for my neck pain. His staff is so caring an friendly while I am waiting to go in. Dr. Meyer takes the time to listen to what is going on with me and each treatment always comes out perfect. The neck is nothing to leave to chance, that is why I go to Dr. Meyer!
