I've been seeing Dr. Nelson for seven years. I trust him completely. He's always explained my condition so that I understand.

Went several times years ago to see Nelson. You have to wait in first waiting room an hour, then they take you to a second waiting room where you sometimes sit another 30 minutes before taking you to a room.... where you wait another 20 minutes before doctor shows up. I think my quickest visit was 2 hours. Doctor Nelson uses eye spreader for shots that is kind of painful when other doctors have switched to just holding bottom eyelid down and giving shots. He also uses 2 extra syringes to remove fluid before giving shots... so it ends up being 3 needles in your eye. You can find other doctors that only do 1 needle, its a much nicer experience. When I told them my anxiety couldn't handle anymore shots done his way the staff tried to pressure and guilt me into continuing visits. Wouldn't recommend this place.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nelson for over 10 years. Since becoming a patient I have recommended him to at least 5 people who are now his patients. Also, my mother, mother-in-law and my wife have become his patients. He is without a doubt the very best physician I have ever been seen by. His staff are all first rate professionals. I recommend him to anyone in need of a retina specialist. You will not find better.
