Everything a good doctor should be!
Dr. Mark L. Nelson is friendly and easy to talk to. He puts you at ease immediately. Most important to me, is that he listens to the patient, as well as offering his own professional advice and opinions. His communication skills are excellent. He has helped me to navigate a complex and confusing, ongoing medical issue. This is a doctor who allows you to consider options and lets you participate in the process of determining your own plan of action. If you want to feel that your doctor is a cooperative partner in the process of your own care, this is your guy!

Worthless
Refuses to manage my multiple medications, which is a natural function of a primary care physician. Refuse to order a lab test I needed. This position has no value to me whatsoever.
