He is an amazing GI that truly cares about his patients and goes far above and beyond to help. He did the Stretta procedure on me and I am quite happy. I flew from California twice because he is a world leader in the Stretta procedure and in LPR. Glad I did!

I have had two colonoscopies with Dr. Noar. I have to say that they were pleasant experiences, as pleasant as a colonoscopy can be. I called in March to schedule my next procedure and was told they weren’t taking appointments because of some kind of insurance thing and to call at a later time. I called again today and was told the same thing and that I should probably call someone else. I really don’t want to go to another doctor but I would really like to get this taken care of over the summer while I’m off.

I can’t say enough nice things about Dr. Noar and his staff. From my first visit the staff was friendly and very punctual! The front desk is polite and helpful. His endoscopicy nurses are so wonderful and kind. The best part was his bedside manner! Very compassionate Doctor

Dr. Noar looked at the full picture of the stomach and valves, and found and treated the true cause of my reflux. I had been to three other doctors who never recommended testing to identify or treat this problem. I would most likely have to be on medications the rest of my life without Dr. Noar’s help.

I don't mind driving 30-40 minutes to get to Dr. Noar's office. He is extremely knowledgeable and I am glad my family doctor recommended him. My entire family now sees him too, even though they do not have the same health issues I have. His staff makes you feel comfortable and valued, which is rare these days. He is also warm and considerate, and down-to-earth. You don't feel intimidated.

My procedure (02/23/2017) was cancelled after I arrived at the office after adhering to a strict diet due to staffing issues. Then, my previous healthcare provider (UHC) advised that Dr. Noar's office billed them for my original 02/02/2017 related to this appointment. This was after I advised the administrative staff that I had a new and current insurer (BC/BS). They took my new insurance card, copied same and paid my co-pay. Then on 02/27/2017 I was notified by UHC that a claim was filed.

I know him best b/c I'm not only his patient, but I have also been his employee for ~8 years. Dr. Noar is the best Gastroenterologist anywhere. He is cutting edge. There is little that Dr. Noar does not know about gastroenterology even down to the molecular level at times. It is not popular these days to refer to greatness, although Mark Noar, M.D., is a great man and physician. I will soon leave his side after nearly 8 years to be close to family. It will be very difficult to leave.

Dr. Noar and his staff are excellent. Everything from the receptionist to the billing department has been wonderful. I traveled to Towsen Maryland, and in the span of 3 consecutive days, I was able to have several tests done and a treatment for my re-flux. One of the amazing things that makes Dr. Noar different from other doctors is he will actually do a free phone consultation with you. This was so helpful because I was having such a hard time getting any doctor to even see me.

I never had the pleasure to meet Dr. Noar. He called me to discuss my son's case via phone. We were in Children's hospital of Pittsburgh and were trying to find alternatives to surgery. Dr. Noar took the time to consult via cell phone and text images to assure me surgery was my son's best option. It was very helpful to have a second opinion. He is very kind and knowledgeable. I felt confident in our decision after speaking with Dr. Noar.

I just returned from an appointment with the doctor. I am still feeling the relief and joy of meeting someone that actually listened and cares. I have been to the Cleveland Clinic and the Mayo clinic and they both told me that I was just too sensitive. They tried to have me see a psychologist and take anti-depressants. Now I know it has been my reflux all along and that I was not crazy. I had heard he was a good doctor....now I see why everyone raves about the doctor and his staff.

I recently was recommended to see the doctor by a family member. I had seen two other doctors who were unable to find out why I had chest pain....it was not my heart! He listened to me and after a few tests we realized my problem was reflux and a bad gallbladder. With the gallbladder gone I am now better and my reflux is under control. Not only did the doctor take lots of time with me, but his staff was awesome and even helped to fight the insurance company so I could get my medicine...this one

For years I had seen doctors and specialists, enduring invasive tests, in a fruitless attempt to resolve my near-constant, crippling, abdominal pain, and unexplained weight loss. I was invariably told there was nothing wrong with me; that I just had reflux. Finally, my primary care doctor referred me to Dr. Noar, saying that he was the Dr. House of G.I. specialists. That's turned out to be true! He's not only diagnosed the problem, but given treatment which restored my quality of life.
