Dr. Mark Powell, MD

Dr Mark Powell was my Pediatrician from 1996-2015! Best pediatrician, best doctor, no other PCP can compare. So loving and compassionate treated me and all of the other children like we were his own. I am blessed to have had him as my doctor. Thank you for keeping me healthy Dr. Markie!

We have coming to see Dr. Powell for both of my kids since they were born. He is AMAZING!! He takes his time explain everything, is very thorough, and never rushed us. Unfortunately his practise was taken over by UCLA MEDICAL and has down hill since. It got so bad they basically fired him for taking to much time with his patients and not treating us like an assembly line. He is no longer there after his practice was basically stolen from underneath him. F UCLA! We left the practice after he left. Unfortunately he didn't open up somewhere else he simply retired. SO SAD.

He is the BEST, he has been the pediatrician for my 6 years old daughter since she was born and he was always a partner helping us as first time parents and taking care of our daughter with so much care and love.

I have been going to Dr. Mark for 18 years. This past January, I faced the biggest challenges of my life, significant other and I broke up, my mother (93) is dying, my uncle (101) is dying, and I have sole custody of my two kids, plus work full time. I missed a bill for $75, no problem paying, I just missed it. They kicked me out of their practice and sent me to collections. No one called me or emailed me. No one really cared. Stay away if you are someone, like just about everyone, who has complications in life. They do not care anymore.

Dr. Powell is the best pediatrician. He is caring, professional, experienced, and knowledgeable. He will spend time listening to you and answer any questions you have. As a first time parent, having him as my son’s pediatrician is truly one of the great blessings in my life.

Our first newborn is a new patient of Dr. Powell. Since he was born, he has had a few issues and as first time parents, we also needed a lot of guidance. Dr. Powell has been great for the past five weeks, and he goes over issues with us in a very timely manner. It's also been very educational for parents too. We are still in the process of working on my son's reflux issue, and we truly believe that we are in great hands. He is so caring and knowledageble. He cares about our little Oliver!

Our family has been with Doctor Powell for 16 years. My children love coming to him. He is honest and caring. The minute you meet him you know your child is in good hands. He goes over and beyond for his patients, and as a parent, that's important.
