Disinterested and unhelpful
My experience with Dr. Rounds was a sour one. He did not seem interested in actually helping me, telling me my symptoms would go away with the season's change. When they didn't, he referred me for imaging. It took my following up with the office to even have him review the CT results several days later, and the only response I got was, 'No sinus issues detected in the CT.' Ok... then what? I understand providers are busy, but he should strive to have just a modicum more care for his patients' well-being, not just their noses.

Dr. Rounds is a very professional and experienced doctor. I had my nose congestion for several years and always wake up during sleep because of breathing difficulty. After seeing him, he first checked my nose and then asked me how long I had used the decongestion spray. I told him at least three years. The surgery to straight my distorted septum and cut the swelling turbinates on October 2023 was very successful. Till now, I felt very well and do not need the nose spray after the surgery. I appreciated the operation he provided. The staff in his office is also very nice. The schedule with the office staff and the phone communication is very efficient and clear. In addition, Dr. Rounds replied my questions/messages through the online system within a day quickly.

Excellent ENT
I came to Dr. Rounds after suffering for seven years from nasal polyps that clogged my entire sinuses. I couldn’t smell or breathe through my nose. Dr. Rounds was quick in diagnosing my sinus problems. After first trying non-surgical treatments, it became clear that a Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery was the way to go. Dr. Rounds was great in listening to all my concerns. He explained the procedure in detail and answered all of my questions. The surgery was a success and it has changed my life. I can now breathe normally through my nose and my sense of smell has come back. This has greatly improved my quality of life. Dr. Rounds has also been excellent in following up after the surgery and in helping me prevent these polyps from growing back. I am very grateful to Dr. Rounds and I highly recommend him.

Made decisions about my care WITHOUT seeing me.
Dr. Rounds was the consulting ENT in the emergency department. He never even SAW me, but he contradicted the opinions of the doctor + Physician's Assistant who actually saw and examined me personally. He changed their treatment plan.

I wish I would of read these reviews before entering into the most important surgery of my life. Dr. Rounds in person seemed to be very knowledgeable and when I told him several times I wanted to make the bridge of my nose smaller and straighten out one side of my cartilage because I couldn’t breathe he kept suggesting on what he thought would be best for me. Thinking the whole time that he was listening to my request seeing that I was the one getting the surgery and paying the money you think that he would listen. He actually made the point of my nose larger, didn’t fix the cartilage that was blocking my nostrils and left me very very unhappy. I reached out to the office several times to have a word with his receptionist Nami (Humaira Huda) and she was no help either. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DR. ROUNDS AT ALL!!!! Stay away from this guy, this is a warning!!!! He will leave you in worst shape then when you went in. Terrible experience, I don’t know how this guy has not been sued ye

Dr. Rounds is my go to doctor because I have had numerous tumor scares and he has done a fantastic reconstruction of my nose which was invaded by basil carcinoma, tumors of the parada gland and removal of facial moles. He is a skillful surgeon and can relate to his patients an informative and catering manner.

I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Rounds over a year ago as I had chronic sinus issues which took away my ability to smell and also taste. Previously I had seen other ENTs and they were unable to find the cause. Dr Rounds was the first doctor to really empathize and come up with a good plan. After a few appointments and a CT scan it was determined that I had sinus polyps. After trying other therapies, he performed my sinus surgery where he removed the polyps ans corrected my septum. The surgery could not have gone better and after a few uncomfortable weeks, got my sense of smell back and could consistently taste food for for the first time in a long time. While there is a chance that these polyps can come back due to allergies, I'm glad that I have Dr Rounds on my side as I truly feel that he cares and will do all that he can to get a positive outcome. Thanks again to Dr. Rounds!

This is a great Doctor! I needed facial plastic surgery after a Basal cell removal. When I saw the opening in my face (from another Doctor), I thought I would never be the same. A visit to Dr Rounds put me at ease, and he did reconstructive work in a few days. I am very pleased with the results, and most people who see me can't tell any work was done. A skin graft was done, and it has blended perfectly into the skin around the area. I could not be happier!

Dr. Mark Rounds is quite the harsh, brash buffoon of a doctor that doesn’t want to take the necessary time to describe surgical procedures or side effects or anything. I had pertinent questions to my orbital “blowout” floor fracture his reply was “stop reading up on stuff on the internet” an exact quote-unquote, with the same reply for another vital question. But for me that is unacceptable. A doctor should be candid with all details but you won’t find that kind of genuine sincerity with him.

I am 27 year old female that had surgery to remove a large cyst from the front of my neck /throat. I was having so much anxiety about the scar it would leave. I'm sure Dr round was annoyed by how much I asked about the potential scar at every visit! Yes it is vain of me, but was my biggest concern. DR rounds did an outstanding job!!! I am so pleasantly surprised with how it is looking and healing just after 1 week. I am confident it will be hardly visible in the long term.

In an effort to reduce snoring and improve sleep, a few years ago Dr Rounds recommended my husband have his deviated septum fixed (it had already been "fixed" once before) and his uvula removed. Neither worked. My husband must now be careful not to gulp, as gulping induces a coughing fit. The uvulectomy was our decision, but Dr Rounds highly recommended it. We regret having had the procedure. Snoring not helped despite weight loss. All that being said, Dr Rounds is personable & easy to talk to

Dr. Round destroyed my face! I went to him for a simple cosmetic procedure. Clearly he had no idea of how to perform it but during my consult acted as if he did and seemed very confident about performing it. The damage can not be fixed. I'm spending thousands on trying to improve it. I'd pay any amount to go back in time and not use him!
