Lymphedema doctor meh
Failed leg vein surgery, I was told my veins are too tangled and edema too great. I’m not questioning his surgical talents - tho maybe he should talk quieter to the nurse during surgery so I don’t hear and not answer his phone-but both himself and staff seem slow to get the ball rolling and they’ve seen this so much they don’t recognize what to the patient is a medical emergency. I don’t get the feeling he knows what to do with me now and I am very scared. He seems to be the only lymphedema surgeon around. Staff are nice, friendly. They have office dogs. My criticism centers around a feeling of urgency around lymphedema, because it definitely is for the patient. Waiting is the kiss of death for us, do you understand?

Terrible doctor
Bottom line is money and fame. He could care less about the longevity of his patients, no matter their age. If he has made a mistake he would never own up to it.

Dr. Rummel was very understanding of my concerns and took the extra time to explain the procedure that was required to improve my health. I had to wait 30minutes past my appointment time to be seen but it was worth while. Dr. Rummel took extra time to answer all of my questions and concerns and made me feel like I really mattered. I would definitely recommend him to both friends and family.
