Dr. Mark Steinberg, DDS

Procedure went well. The post-op discussion felt rushed. I attempted to take notes but he told me all the info was in the post-op document. However, the document lacked information about brushing teeth, rinsing, eating food... When I suggested these topics should be addressed in the post-op document, he was terse and dismissive. He also pushed a medication containing hydrocodone for pain and did not suggest any alternatives. We chose to give my daughter Ibuprofen and acetaminophen for pain management before using the opioid and fortunately, that was enough. What a shame to have given her 1 opioid tablet every 4 hours when it wasn't needed.

Last year my sister came to this dentist for dental pain after having the runaround from a general dentist and a Periodontist and an oral surgeon she was referred to Steinberg. I paid for her wisdom tooth extraction. My sister has anxiety so she requested IV sedation to which they charged me an additional $500. She got there at 12pm my mom dropped her off. The receptionists were more concerned with Ordering their lunch than my sister or her procedure. At 12:15 they told my mom she was done my mom was shocked she saw my sister completely alert and awake where was this so-called IV sedation? They gave her an IV but she did not seem sedated at all. They rang up my credit card over $1000 for a 15 minute botched job and out the door she went. Not an hour later my sister was screaming in excruciating pain she had never felt this kind of pain in her life she wound up going to the emergency room three times she had an abscess and a

My experience with Dr. Steinberg was a very negative one. I have had a lot of dental work in my mouth in the past (root canals, an implant, crowns, etc.) but never have I had such painful dental experiences as I had with Dr. Steinberg! The shots to numb my mouth were horrendously painful. And, having had nitrous oxide many times before and knowing what to expect, I'm sure there was nothing in the cannister I was given in his office! So, no, I would not recommend this oral surgeon whatsoever.

I?m not really sure what I could say to fully express my gratitude and trust that I have in Dr. Mark Steinberg and his entire team. Apart from the fact that he is an MD as well as a DDS, he is also thorough, compassionate and the best dentist I have ever seen in my 40 years. Not only did he and his team go above and beyond to ensure that I was aware if all options, but went a step further to discuss what options I had based on the path that worked best for me. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. S!
