He is my hero. I am overweight. For five years I was in sever pain. I went to five different surgeons from Saginaw, to Westbranch. No one would do the surgery until I met Dr. Stewart. I have had very little pain and no signs of infection. Praise God. Miracles do happen.

Worst doctor ever
Didn't care absolutely no compassion, looked at his phone the entire time when he saw me, gave me wrong treatment. Called for help was told to take a motrin. He's a horrible human being. He should be fired. Never go to this doctor

AVOID HIM If You Have Young Children
My 4-year-old son was hungry after we had to wait 3 HOURS past our scheduled appointment. When Dr Stewart FINALLY entered the room to examine him, my son was whining for food. One of the first things Dr said: "What, is he ADHD or something?" After he examined x-rays, I asked for the prognosis. "Well, I'll do what I can, but I'm not God!" As I comforted my son while his swollen arm was getting wrapped, Dr: "Mom, don't smother him. Relax. You're making it worse." When we returned for cast removal, Dr told me to sit at the opposite end of the room while he prepped the buzz saw. I did, but remained standing so I could go to my 4 YEAR OLD SON'S side if he got scared by the loud saw. Dr glared at me, told me to sit down, and "relax." I replied, "I am relaxed." When the saw started, my son yelled, "I'm scared!" I went to his side, even though the Dr purposely positioned him so that it was very difficult. This Dr discourages & criticizes any attempts to comfort small children.

Very knowledgeable
After seeing 3 other ortho doctors about the cyst and arthritis on my left index finger, to no avail, I FINALLY got results! Dr. Stewart knew right away what to do. He did not make me come back, in my initial visit he drained the cyst and gave the joint an injection of steroid of some sort. The first couple of days, it really hurt. Within one week, all the pain and swelling was gone! He was polite, professional, but friendly, too! I highly recommend him!

Worst orthopedic doctor in Bay City. Spends no time with you, doesn't listen to your concerns. We were referred to him from an emergency visit with a broken foot(he was the on call doctor). Big mistake following up the treatment with him. Can't give lower than 1.

Office staff is very friendly and helpful, but this is a place to avoid at all costs. I saw the doctor for less than five minutes, was first told I had only one fracture when in fact I have two, and was shoved into a ill-fitting air cast boot. The doctor appears to suffer from the early stages of dementia.
