This practice has stopped viewing things from a patient's point of view. Originally, my cardiac care was fine and I saw Dr. Strong nearly every time I went to his office for a check-up. Then, his very competent nurses took over check-up responsibilities and communication with one of them was especially good; I usually saw the doctor about every second visit. One of his nurses was available to call me back when I had a question. Now, however, he has added another layer between the patient and doctor. When I call with a question There is a phone answerer, a telephone nurse, the doctor's nurse and.... is the doctor even there? Right now, I have waited three days for an answer from anyone in that clinic to a reasonable and, for me, vital question. No one has given me a call-back, not even the telephone nurse. I'm just twisting in the wind.

I went in for my first visit with him and waited for him to talk to me and ask me what my problem was but he didn't talk at all except I will see you next time then about 6 months later I went into the hospital with chest pain and he came into see me and said didn't you have a stress test done in my office and I said yes so he said you can go home even though my heart enzymes were elevated and chest pains. Now one year later I have blocked arteries and have had a possible heart attack.
