Insightful, Kind and Compassionate
Insightful, kind, and took the time to explain everything in great detail. I did not feel rushed, he answered every question I had, by the end of the appointment I felt well-informed and comfortable.

Surgical procedure review
He did answer many questions on first visit but then very rudely and unprofessionally told me before a procedure in front of others that he would not see me again because I did not get along with his 'team' (who were rude thus I did not want to see them again).

Disrespectful
Wow. This guy…truly awful. Disrespectful and dismissive. Condensing and rude. Didn’t apologize or acknowledge an oversight he made and actually made me feel like it was my fault.

Dismissive and disrespectful
Was told that hemorrhoids do not burst (pop), which I know is 100 percent false as it happened to me. Hemorrhoids become inflamed at times and can get large and uncomfortable. If you see this doctor when your not in a phase of inflammation he will tell you it is a small skin tag and that you shouldn't be having a mental breakdown due to your symptoms. He refused to remove my "skin tag" that bleeds,burns and swells for months at a time, while telling me as well that prep H wouldn't be able to take the swelling down much and that there is no way I'm as uncomfortable as I'm saying. When I was referred to the surgeon it was because I had a large hemorrhoid when I was in the regular doctors office. Never in my life have I felt less of a human being than I did when I left his office. Clearly he does not like to work with respect or compassion.

Arrogant & Dismissive
Dr Sun is dismissive and arrogant. He openly dismisses the feedback of his patients and makes medical decisions without listening to that feedback. For example, patient is 7 days post-op and still unable to digest Jello without extreme pain - so he orders solid food. Nurses openly questioning his care doesn't inspire any confidence while the patient has now been in hospital for 14 days w no resolution to her pain. He's also the head of his department, so the patient is stuck w no one to improve circumstances
