Dr. Mark Vandenbosch, MD

I had a colonoscopy done at Valley view surgery center on /06/09/2023 and Dr. Vandenbosch was my Anesthesiologist. I told him that I can not have a blood pressure taking on my right arm nor needles since i had breast cancer on my right breast and was told that if I do it could cause lymphoedema. Dr. Vandenbosch said that was not true and is an old wives tale. He ask me if I even knew what Lymphoedema was and I said yes your arm swells up. and then he said, did you ever have Lymphoedema? I said no. then he said, so you wont get it. I pleaded with him please don't put the blood pressure cup on that arm, even the nurse said can we just put it on the other arm. and he did not want to hear of it and placed the blood pressure cup on the right arm himself. I am very upset and want to report him. This is not right what he did. especially when I ask him not to. the nurses did not look very happy about the situation about what he did. But they did not say anything.
