Dr. Mark Wanderman, MD

I brought my 13 year old daughter in for a preventative care visit. It was basic visit, no real complaints, He checked her growth and the standard stuff. I was charged $401 for the preventative care visit established patient- AND on top of that another $256 for an office visit established patient, low to medium level complexity. The clinic had me fill out the entire Past medical, Family, Social history, and review of systems myself so ZERO work on their part. So, they want me to believe that they deserve 657$ to weigh, check height, look at a graph, and do a quick exam? Of course they also charged for extra for the hearing test, behavioral "assessment" (which my daughter herself filled out)! Total bill with 1 vaccine and 1 blood draw was $855.22. My daughter has been a patient there for 13 years. I will NEVER return.

Dr Wanderman has cared for my three children and has been incredibly good. He goes the extra mile to answer my questions and address concerns. Upon referral to a specialist, he followed up to ensure we had a resolution to our child's medical condition which did require surgery.

Extremely innapropriate provider care. While my 15 year old child was in for their well child check up, he insisted on feeling for a femoral pulse. While this may be in his scope of care, to place his hand down my daughters jeans to feel for a pulse is absolutely unneccisary and creepy. She is alive walking and talking she obviously has a pulse. I was not in the room at the time. My daughter has been in tears off and on all afternoon from this traumatic visit.

We have been taking our children to Dr. Wanderman for over 8 years. He is incredibly kind and courteous. Our questions are always answered and we value his expertise.
