I went to see him for a knee issue a few years ago which resulted in surgery. Then I had a setback and went back to him, but he completely downplayed it. Refused to do an MRI, ignored my complaints, etc. I went to another doctor who said the wrong procedure was performed and that I would need another surgery. My guess is he thought it would make him look bad so that's why he ignored it. Pathetic!

Dr. Wichman truly partners with his patients. He listens to your history, asks about your lifestyle and goals before making a recommendation. He starts with the least invasive option before progressing to something more radical. I have a long history of post-surgical infections and he suggested we partner with an infectious disease specialist. For the first time in my life, I had two totally successful surgeries (knee replacements) because he listened. I would (and often have) recommend Mark Wichman for your orthopedic needs. He is a star!

Dr. Mark T. Wichman was outstanding for my recent shoulder surgery. He had his staff explained everything to my wife and I. Three months post surgery and I am ahead of schedule. Keep up with your PT.

I had AMAZING care from Dr. Mark T. Wickman and his entire surgical and clinical staff. I was extremely nervous having this Rotator Cuff Surgery done; but the Dr. and his staff was wonderful and kept me calm and talked me through everything. My recovery was Awesome, I have not had any arm pain during orsince the surgery in January. My range is almost back to 100% in that short amount of time. Dr. Wichman and the Therapist are so excited about that. I would like to Thank all involved in my care.

I had two surgeries with Dr. Wichman in less than six months (torn meniscus in knee and torn rotator cuff in right shoulder). Both surgical experiences were fabulous !!! Dr. Wichman and his team are the absolute BEST !!! I have had several major surgeries before and these two surgeries were by far the best overall experiences ever !!! My recovery was quick (using my arm in less than 11 weeks) with no problem. Dr. Wichman and his team is the only way to go !!!

I needed MCL/PCL reconstruction after a motorcycle crash. Dr. Wichman instilled confidence from the very first visit. Despite personally wanting a quicker surgical timeline, I followed his advice and went through some initial PT before surgery. That was a smart decision. Because of his advice I went through the post surgical healing much quicker that most others expected. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Wichman and his team. He should get six stars on the five star scale.

Dr. Wichman was very good at diagnosing my shoulder pain, When i t came time for surgery, he explained the procedure and his bedside manner was very comforting. Because of the type of surgery he did my recovery time was cut down and i am very satisfied with the work that was done. I would never go see another Orthopedic if Dr Wichman could assist me.

Dr. Wichman is one talented surgeon! I needed a new knee and he spent as much time as I needed explaining the pre, post and surgical process...even had visual aids. He went above and beyond what I expected him to do. I was so well informed and comfortable with what would happen that I wasn't nervous one bit day of surgery! I now walk as far as I want as quickly as I want AND pain free. Dr. Wichman is awesome! Thank you for doing what you do. Too bad you're not a general practitioner ;)

Dr. Wichman performed knee surgery on me this winter. He is an honest and confident surgeon. He was patient when answering all my questions. He changed my life. He gave me back a part of myself I haven't had in four years. He gave me the ability to function while performing daily normal activities, and high stress activities without pain.I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with him and his work. I would highly recommend him to anyone! Talented man! He exceeded my expectations! TY!!!

Dr. Wichman has been my orthopedic doctor for 18 years. I started with a torn cartilage in my left knee that happened to me while camping/hiking in 1998. I had arthroscopic surgery on that knee. A couple of years later I tore the cartilage in my other knee and needed arthroscopic surgery on that knee. In 2005 I had a partial knee replacement on my left knee. In 2008 I had knee replacement on both knees--one in Aug; the other in Nov. I had many visits with Dr Wichman over the years.
