If you're looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate oncologist to treat your liver cancer diagnosis, then Dr. Mark Yarchoan is your doctor. He's very compassionate and is available to answer all your many questions about your liver disease. During each visit he ensures that he has answered all of your questions to your satisfaction. He is always searching for ways to help you live out your lifespan, and if none are available he'll let you know in an hones and compassionate manner. I feel that he is not only my doctor, but also my friend. He truly wants to see me live. I'm not through my journey yet, but I know if anyone can help me live, it will be through his excellent research and medical skills and the Grace of God that I'll make it through. Dr. Yarchoan has been an indescribable blessing to me during my cancer journey. During each visit with him, he spends significant time answering my questions, discussing my concerns, sharing his knowledge, and making recommendations. At the same time, he is not a 'my-way-or-the-highway' medical professional. He describes himself as my 'consultant', but I am the 'decision-maker'. And I always feel that my ongoing decisions are well-founded, because he provides me with sufficient professional insight and education in order to make informed ones. He is also extremely dedicated to excellent communication with his patients. Always available to discuss concerns or new ideas. I have been battling a very rare form of cancer for almost five years now, and, although the journey has been difficult, Dr. Yarchoan has been one of the many blessings along the way. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of a knowledgeable, compassionate oncologist. He is all that and more.
