Dr. Martha Boone, MD

Shame on any patient who is so wrongly critical of Martha B Boone MD. She is patient, personal and exceptional in her field. She is straight forward, kind and certainly dedicated. There is however , little tolerance for neurotic whining.

I saw Dr. Boone for approximately 15 years. For a number of years, I adored her, as well as her staff. Once she moved offices, she got a totally new set of staff. They could not be more rude and ugly. Especially, Beth...the woman in the front window. I'm not sure what has happened with Dr. Boone. Her entire demeanor has changed over the past few years and she has become snappy and condescending, with very little empathy. I don't know if this has anything to do with her taking off for the next year, but if it helps her to get back to her old self, that would be great. Otherwise, I will not be visiting her practice, ever again.

Dr. Boone and her staff are wonderful! Very caring and thorough! I cannot say enough good things about her. I highly recommend Dr. Boone if you need a urologist!!!

Awful. She is extremely condescending, unkind, downright rude. After misdiagnosing me, I ended up having to have 17 days of IV infusions for 2 very serious bacteria in my bladder, followed by 6 surgical procedures from another kind Nd competent Urologist. My bladder will never be the same.

Dr. Boone is extremely knowledgeable and did an amazing job with my kidney stone procedure. She has a lot of experience working with spinal cord injuries, amongst other specialties. If you’re looking for a reliable, experienced urologist, Dr. Boone is a great option.

Poor communicator. Poor decision-making. Recommended treatment caused the complication that was feared. Seeing another urologist provided another treatment option that was the best for me, but that Dr. Boone never mentioned. Very upsetting experience. Wish I'd gone to the other urologist first.

Pretty amazing that Dr. Boone claims she is so educated but does not realize that Cryoablation is available at one of the top academic centers in Georgia....Emory. It is a disgrace and a crime to not offer her patients a better option rather than surgery when it is available right down the road. This is proof that her patients interest is not her number one priority. You do not need to go anywhere to get Cryoablation....it is performed by leading acedemic physicians right here in Alpharetta/Johns Creek.

Hard to leave a review when Dr. Boone barely gave me 10 minutes...waited in the exam room 30+ minutes. She mentioned bladder cancer due to my previous smoking history (32 years ago!) 4 times. Her nurse was excellent. Got home and read visit notations on the patient portal to find CYSTOCELE??? Was never mentioned while I was there. Bad experience. Have since moved on to a practice that is extremely professional and concerned.

I was referred to Dr. Boone in 2016 by my PMD for a bladder leakage problem. Dr. Boone has methodically worked through each option medically available to deal with my problem - from the least invasive to the most invasive procedure. My feedback on the effectiveness of treatment has always been sought by her and her staff and with each step I have been provided with appropriate explanations for the new direction in the plan of care. I have just received my clearance to resume normal activities after surgery and my problem is 95% corrected. Yeah! Dr. Boone and her nurse were always friendly, concerned, and supportive during difficult procedures. Thank you Dr. Boone! I know I always had to remind myself not to put on perfume or lotion when getting ready to go to my appointments - it's just second nature to use those products. But as a nurse I know how devastating it can be for an individual if there is a severe allergic reaction. I highly recommend Dr. Boone as a Urologist

Dr. Boone is my HERO!!! I switched to her when I was feeling that my current Urologist wasn't being aggressive enough help me with my issue. She was kind and thorough and explained things in terms I could understand. Her office is professional and her staff is great! I love that the office actually answers the phone when you call and they are responsive to patient needs. Love Dr. Boone...love this office!

Dr Boone is a very caring and professional physician. My whole family- two college age children, wife and myself - have Dr Boone as their urologist. Everyone seems to have recurring stones and wife and I both have other urological problems that been successfully treated or managed. Dr Boone does have a stilted seriousness about her personality that may turn off some, but I know that is a characteristic of high intelligence. I'm sure many of the negative reviewers could not see beyond that characteristic.

Air have had the good fortune of having doctor Matha Boone as my urologist for two separate urologic issues and both experiences were exceptional. Her office staff is both friendly and efficient and her office notes and recommendations arrived in my in box before I made it home. Highly recommended without reservations

Stay away... unless you want a doctor who will ridicule you, misdiagnose you, put you in the hospital with complications, and talk down to you. The urologist I went to after Dr. Boone had to undo what she had done before I could have the surgery I actually needed. I am better now, no thanks to Dr. Boone. Save yourself a lot of pain, expense, and frustration and don't go to Dr. Boone.

This is the worst drs office ever. Rude and unprofessional. I was accused of wearing fragrances. Which I didn't. Just like the other person posted..I came in with no lotions, gels, hair product or perfume. The medical assistant accused me of having on a perfume. I told her I didnt have on any fragrances except your bathroom soap since I had gone to give a urine sample earlier. The tube in her voice was distespectful and accusatory. I will never return to this doctor.

Dr. Boone and the entire staff at the Alpharetta office are incredible advocates for the medical field. During a stressful time, Dr. Boone took the time to explain my options, answered every question patiently, and was genuinely present as my doctor and well as a kind human being. The nurses are the best I have ever experienced. You can tell that they are #1. The right person for the job. This offices hiring practices should be applauded. #2. Very well educated, likely beyond what is required.

I was recommended by my OB office. I scheduled appointment (soonest 4 weeks). Dr. B examined me, her staff scheduled appointment for CT scan on the following Monday - Wednesday to see her again for cystoscopy. The doctor's office failed to get CT report before my appt- I called- they faxed over to Dr. B's office that afternoon. I called the next day - office mgr told me Dr. B would call by 5:00pm. It have been 5 days have NOT heard from anyone!!! I had to call my OB office to help me:(

Was hands-down the worst experience I’ve ever had in a doctors office. If I could give them a 0 I certainly would. First, I was taken into a dirty patient room and asked to go back into the waiting room. The first question I was asked is if I had perfume on which I did not. I was told I would have to leave and come back another day. I have been waiting for this appointment for weeks. My son has asthma. I am very empathetic to those who have any illness. I was not shown the same in return!

I would not recommend Dr. Boone. Her and her staff are very unprofessional. They don’t care about you “the patient”. They were unwilling to treat my daughter. I had to call her primary doctor to get treatment for a UTI. They were going to let her be in pain and didn’t care she was in pain and extreme discomfort.

Hands down most unprofessional place I have ever been. Dr. Boone and her staff get one star from me. I wish I could give 0. If you want to go to an office where the physician cares more about branding and selling books than about your pain and health situation, go here.
