Dr. Martha Bustamante, MD

I had heard great things about Dr. Bustamante, so I took both of my sons to see her. My first experience was positive—she was thorough, informative, and gentle during the examination. She took the time to explain things in detail, which I really appreciated.However, when I returned a few days later with my second child, the experience was completely different. Dr. Bustamante was dismissive and rude. She diagnosed my child without asking any questions, simply glancing at him and claiming she 'just knew.' When my husband and I asked if we could better understand her reasoning behind the diagnosis, her only response was, 'If it quacks like a duck, it's a duck.' That was the entirety of her explanation.Additionally, during the physical exam, she handled my two-year-old roughly, particularly his feet, as if she was irritated by his presence. Her demeanor had changed so drastically from our first visit that it was unsettling. She seemed either extremely unstable or completely disengaged.

This office was extremely unprofessional. Called several times for several days nobody answers nor do they return your call back. The answering service when you call and prompt for scheduling or rescheduling appointments says if you’re going to be 15 minutes or more late to call and let them know. As this is what happens and nobody answered when arrived at the office they advised that unfortunately they couldn’t see us. Yet their message doesn’t take that. When I get there and speak to the front desk, Monica was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I would never recommend this office to anyone. I only left one star due to the fact that it’s mandatory if not, I will leave none.

Today I had the honor and privilege of meeting a genius, in the form of a doctor: (Martha Bustamante); who not only has great medical talent, but who heals and embraces us, with infinite tenderness, and her eyes comfort; because she is compassionate, if you have the opportunity to know her, feel blessed and pray for her.

Today I had an appointment at 11:00 AM. They change my appointment without notifying me in advanced. I had already scheduled other appointments for the day, and the receptionists told me that she had nothing to do with that. It is lack of respect for peoples' time to add an appointment that was scheduled for more than 4 moths. unprofessional staff. The staff was nothing but courteous. I decided to change doctors.

I took my daughter to get evaluated because I believe she is autistic and needs extra support. I myself also struggle with being autistic and having ADHD so I have someone (caseworker) that comes to these appointments with me to help me with the names of a medication’s and information about my daughter that I don’t know how to articulate. Martha refused to let her in and told me that it doesn’t make sense that I don’t know this information. I explained to her my condition and she said that that is not an excuse 's. Due to this she said that she couldn’t work with my daughter and led me to the door. I felt extremely frustrated and misunderstood by Martha, as I was simply asking for some extra support in communicating effectively during the evaluation.I tried my best to explain my daughter's behaviors and challenges, but I felt like Martha was dismissive of my concerns. It was a difficult and emotional experience for me, and I left feeling discouraged and unsupported.

She lacks professionalism, rude, cruel. Doesn’t let parent interact with her. She gave a diagnosis without even examining my child. I was stunned when I left that place. This woman can’t be called doctor.

Dr. Bustamante is a very thorough and knowledgeable physician, she always takes the time to make sure that all questions are answered and addressed. She is very compassionate and spent a lot of time examining and observing my child. The receptionists were all fantastic and accommodating to my son's special needs. I highly recommend Dr. Bustamante and her team, they are truly amazing and I feel blessed that she is my son's neurologist.

Yo he tenido muy buena experiencia con la dra , Mis nietos se atienden con en esa oficina y las muchachas son amables , no tenemos queja . Ultimamente los ha atendido una doctora mas joven que se llama Nielis y tengo que decir que es maravillosa, , es paciente y escucha lo que uno dice y se ve que tiene conocimiento . Gracias a todos , nosotros estamos contentos con el trato de la oficina y el personal

The staff of the doctor is very unprofessional, the receptionists if that is what it could be called, you are not trained to work in such a trade, a pay for a service and it is down to who you want to see you, in fact these girls do not They made the appointment with the dra because yes period. I hope that you never have problems with your children, much less come to a place looking for help and go through what they put me through today. I hope the Dra take action with them, I hope you understand that you are the only possibility to help certain children, do not deprive the possibility that the Dra Bustamante help the children who need it.

Worst doctor I ever met in few minutes diagnosed my son without having any interaction with him. Doesn’t let you talk, very rude. It is very sad that this type of doctor deal with kids every day. I would not recomend her, she is so unprofessional .

She is the most insensitive human being that I have met in my life, after giving me all the negative prognosis about my child; which I never asked her; she said to me: “good luck “ in a sarcastic way, even my son told me: mommy, don’t bring me here anymore, she is a mean lady.

I left the office traumatized she has zero connection with children surprising for a woman who has 7 kids she is extremely rude in seconds diagnoses my son with autism and sent him for torturous tests I saw how her staff walks on egg shells to speak to her I would never recommend this place to anyone

the worst person I have ever met! Inhuman, unprofessional, acts as if he hated children......if you do not find anything in your son. It also tells you something bad. I do not recommend it to anyone

The worst costumer service you never can talk whit a representative and when they call you they treat you bad I defenetly don’t recommend this place

Worst follow up not even a return call. Put my child under medication over a year and been trying to get her to do an update don't even a call back. What a disgrace to put your child in this kind of Doctor. Dangerous and I will talk to my lawyer.

After seeing many negative reviews online about Dr. Bustamante I was a little nervous about my first appointment. When meeting with Dr. Bustamante I was not looking for her to be sensitive to me because of my sons disorder. I wanted the facts and for her to be as real as possible so I can get my son the help he needs. She sat with me for over an hour and gave me all the information I needed. I give her 5 stars!

My writing english is not perfect but i want everyone to know that this doctor is no good. Her & her and are very rude people and we see her because our son not develop fast. When we first meet her she scare our lives & tell us our son shows signs of all the scariest diseases. Over the last 3 months we make 10 trips to drs and hospitals for testing & find out our son is normal & our new neurologist tell us the test were not even necessary. Our son just develop at his own pace & it happens a lot

After a 2 hour wait I find out they switched us to see a new assistant, Cardenas. When we come in his office he was bothered by everything my son did & as he was going over meds flipped out claiming that I took it upon myself to raise med dose which was untrue & stormed out of the room with chart. He later came back to inform me to find another provider, he would not treat my son or prescribe meds. Dr. Bustamante obviously was the one who advised him as it's her practice. Worst practice ever!
