In 2017 I was diagnosed with IPF by Britos-Bray he wanted to put me on a new lung medication at $5000 per month. I went to Mayo in Jacksonville for a second opinion. They found I was aspirating stomach gases into my lungs which caused the scaring in my lungs.

Dr. Britos solved medical problems associated with both my lungs and my heart. When cardiologists weren't seeing the heart-related issues, Dr. Britos researched the connections between my lungs and heart and found that the heart was not pumping properly and was seeping fluids into my lungs causing numerous bouts of pneumonia. After a number of Pulmonologists could not find the root cause of pneumonia, Dr. Britos did, and by placing me on a maintenance dose of Lasix, kept fluids out of my lungs and resolved this serious medical issue. He improved the quality of my life, and I am forever grateful. Dr. Britos did his residency at Johns Hopkins Medicine, one of the best in the nation. In addition, Dr. Britos has the best people skills / relates exceptionally well with his patience, all of which make him the real deal of Pulmonologists.

I would definitely recommend Dr Martin Britos-Bray,I was referred to him by my primary care Dr and he diagnosed me with reoccurring pleural effusions and referred to a surgeon, where I had a pleurodesis procedure done,I'm so glad he was able to diagnose me and get the procedure done,so I can breathe easier!!

I was admitted to ICU in septic shock. Stayed in the hospital for four days. I have absolutely no recollection of ever meeting this man who, by the way, is a pulminologist. He did send me a very large bill. After my insurance paid their share, my obligation was $622.00. Even though I have no recollection of having ever met this doctor (I was NOT hospitalised with a breathing issue, I had sepsis), I started sending him monthly payments. I never missed a month. The balance is now down to $322.00 and the good doctor (whom I've never met) has turned me over to collections. This is utterly ridiculous and I have been pushed around enough. I intend to fight this with every fabric of my being and I have all the time in the world. The good doctor could do better than bullying poor people who have clearly demonstrated their good faith.

I have had asthma since I was a baby and now have many complicated lung issues and other health problems. When I moved down here Boston finally got me in a functioning state, I communicated this to Dr Brito's and he said why change something that is working. Well that was good for the first year when he wanted to change my steroid, then, my blood thinner and add a medication I previously took with no result! All this without consulting my doctor in Boston, I do winters here summers up north

Dr. Britos-Bray has made me feel that I'm not alone with a kind of rare lung disease. Several other doctors and one other pulmonary Dr had no idea what to do with me. Dr. Britos has connected me with resources, treatment and helped me make a treatment plan to manage this. He is so caring, kind and though. So glad I found him!

Dr. Britos researched, diagnosed and successfully treated a complex pulmonary problem that interacted with a heart condition, that 6 other Pulmonologists could NOT identify. As a result, this had added a number of years to my life. Prior to Dr. Britos, my pulmonary problems were chronic and acute, resulting in many ER visits, & hospital admissions, & required home oxygen. With Dr. Britos I have had NO hospital visits, & needed NO added oxygen in over 1 year, and lungs are much stronger.
